eat carbohydrates(rice, pasta,potatoes etc..) before you do something active ( gym, swimming, sports etc..) and dont eat them when your lounging about..simples

Animal fat is actually one of the healthiest things we can consume, afterall it's how we evolved a large brain due to the enormious amounts of protein from which the brain is made of. The real culprit is carbohydrates, especially in wheat products.
