Please upload Athens 2004 Women's All Around Part 10 Medal Ceremony Bronze Medalist Zhang Nan of China, Silver Medalist Svetlana Khorkina of Russia, and Gold Medalist and the Olympic Champion Carly Patterson of the United States and the playing of the National Anthem of the United States of America The Star Spangled Banner.
I also think Pavlova is the type of gymnast with a poor CV (hardly winning medals), but she will still be remembered, because of (1) the tears in Athens, (2) The unforgettable Beijing AA floor (THAT music + performance!!!!), (3) her emotional and controversial career. In 10 years' time, people in the gymnastics forum would still discuss her Beijing floor routine, but no one will remember Zhang Nan / etc. I have my fingers crossed Pavlova will be inducted to International Gymnastics Hall of Fame.
All the TV viewers with a nice heart would feel heartbroken for Pavlova (but interestingly, people recognize + remember Pavlova more because of those tears!). Everyone was cheering / screaming for Pattersen, while Pavlova was so sad and lonely. I actually think Pavlova's scores were right, but it was Zhang Nan's beam score that was ridiculously high - it could only be 9.6 maximum (instead of 9.662). I have NEVER heard of anyone until today that Pavlova deserved to be behind Zhang Nan.
Do have part 10 Women's All Around Individual final medal ceremony Gold Medal and the Olympic Champion Carly Patterson of the United States of America? The National Anthem of the United States of America?
And don't forget part 10 The Medal Ceremony for Women's All Around Individual. Olympic Bronze Medalist Zhang Nan of China, Olympic Silver Medalist Svetlana Khorkina of Russia, and the Gold Medalist and the Olympic Champion Carly Patterson of the United States. And for the national Anthem of the United States of America. If you upload one for me. Thank you.
i think anna should have won bronze medal i just don't think the judges gave her a benefit of a doubt at all she did stick the vault just like stumbled when she went to salute the judges
yea but they were coached by two different coaches. in fact, if rebecca bross manages to not peak before 2012 she could hav a shot at winning the AA which ould be a 3 in a row victory for not only USA but for WOGA as well, and a 2 in a row victory for Valleri Liuken

Carly Patterson had the worst floor routine of any Olympic AA champion I can remember going back to Nadia...It was naff, had no artistry, just a couple of empty arm movements and Carly had no character in it....It all came down to that triple spin of Khorkina's....
For all the things said about Svetas bad sportsmanship she was the first gymnast to go and hug and congratulate her competitors and took it with grace.
Theoretically it is possible since there is no tie-break rule for AA (on the contrary to event finals). And in 1985, we had a tie between Shushunova and Omelianchik for the World AA title.
That help that Shush and Omelianchek were both Soviets and best friends.....It has only happened that one time, never at Olympics, think of Shush and Silivas in 88 and Miller and Gutsu in 92 both could and maybe should have been shared.......
well, i dont think courtney even came close ro winning. im pretty sure they meant that they were the co-champions of the american team to make it to all arounds
i hate how the announcer says Khorkina is getting a standing ovation...who says that SO wasn't for carly?? And i also don't like how she says in everyones heart Khorkina is the champion... maybe in ur heart but i no i wouldve been devistated if she won and not carly.... and Anna Pavlova DEFINATLY deserved bronze her vault was barely deductable and Zhang Nan's beam was wayyyyyy over scored
What are you talking about "barely deductible?" First of all, she starts with a 9.8 start value. Then, she is deducted for lack of height and her three or four steps on the landing.
poor Anna :( she definitely deserved bronze over Nan Zhang. It breaks my heart to see her cry. It makes me even more upset that she struggled a bit in Beijing. Sad that a gymnast so amazing only won one individual Olympic medal. Her medal count doesn't do justice to her legacy as a gymnast.
@gymn0brunette0hanley I agree!!! She has got to be one of the most unlucky gymnasts in Olympic history. In 2004 she is fourth in the AA by 0.025 and fourth on beam. In 2008 her team came in 4th, she got a zero on vault due to a technicality, screwed up in the floor final (maybe because of her vault disaster), then places 4th on beam AGAIN 0.05 behind Chung Fei. Poor girl - she is such a beautiful gymnast!
I remember watching this four years ago (the only competition I saw of Athens).... to me Khorkina will always be the champion and how heartbreaking to seee Pavlova cry she deserved the bronze over zhang nan
I enjoyed Khorkina but on this night Patterson really was the better of the 2. Khorkina had a problem on both bars and beam and her vault wasn't landed well. Patterson went 4 for 4 and was consistant on everything. She deserved her gold. However, I do believe Anna deserved the bronze but she finished on vault which scores lower then floor sadly.
I get the overall feeling that Carly deserved her gold as she was better on the day, but I have to admit that she was overscored on VT, UB and FX. I'm not sure that the standings would have been the same if she had got the scores she deserved. Pavlova was of course robbed!

Is it possible in the All-Around final to be a co-champion? I had read online that Courtney Kupets and Carly Patterson ended up being co-champions.

i think based on all performances [and my personal opinion] Sofronie should have been the winner with Carly and Khorkina 2nd and 3rd.
