  • Wow! Where'd you get that grader? Your videos have been a great help, and great entertainment. I am also farming in Alberta, hoping to work toward doing most or all of our farming with draft. I am just training my first team of oxen, and building a set of hames for a swiss collar. That is a steep learning curve, but I'm sure will be worth it in the end. Thank you for the inspiration and education!

  • @darkshriner why thank u , they are still out there but not cheap, stop in some time

  • oh boy, it sounds cold!

  • how long does it take to harness up the team

  • And they always start in cold weather and dont get stuck. If you spend 2 hours shoveling your tractor out of a snow bank then you have waisted more time than you gain for a year!!

  • Hmm... You could either team up the horses, or attach snow chains to the tractor wheels.. Normally tractors are quicker, but in this scenario the horses may be in favour because they dont need snow chains ;)
