  • You are very beautiful and fair skin ftw :P.

  • But wouldn't you prefer the word FAIR as oposed to "pale"? Now "pale" is sort of derogatory ( a way of puting it down ), or it's often used in that manner anyway ( "paleface" for example ) .

  • @Skulldini Not really, I have no deregatory connations with the word pale. I've never heard it used offensively. "Paleface" doesn't exactly instill me with fear, maybe I don't understand that term. But the word pale is not inherently deregatory.

  • @holdthefuckingline

Go to Sephora & ask a salesperson to find a Makeup Forever foundation to match you. There's a large range of shades. I haven't yet seen a person who's too light. If you don't live by Sephora, some JC Penney have Sephora, or you can buy on Sephora's website & if the shade is wrong, you mail it back for a refund

  • i come from europe and i am also veeeeerry pale...i only can use concealer and a white powder because all the drug store liquid foundations are dark orange D: HELP?

  • @holdthefuckingline I am doing a pale/very pale foundation video very soon, this week probably : ) Should help a lot, if not contact me again xo

  • You look like angelina jolie!

  • @xjamiealicia Thanks!! xx

  • great video, I just wanted to say, the best foundation I have for us pale folks is Graftobian in Silk Sprite, is a pure white with a slight hint of pink foundation, with NO yellow or orange undertones. this foundation I shade I am talking about is in the Utlra Lite HD foundation, they give you a sample of 5 shades 2 cools, 1 neutral and 2 warms, the shade I use is Silk Sprite its the best :) its a cool shade. I love your accent. :)

  • @maleficentdiva Yes I love the Graftobian HD foundation, I'll be doing a video on best foundations for pale skin this year. Thanks so much : )

  • The only foundation that matches my skin perfectly is the one from illamasqua and its pure white, i mix it with some moisturizer. Even alabaster from bobbi brown is too yellow for me.

  • @TheGhettoMuffin I know it's a bit of a nightmare for foundations, but I hope to do a foundations video for pale skin this year. Bobbi Brown are known to be yellow toned. FACE Atelier Zero Minus is a brilliant product, it's a white product that blends with any foundation and lightens it. Thanks for your comments : )

  • Woo! Dark hair, pale skin and bold lips. Love it!

  • @The0Pumpkin Thanks! : ))) so kind...

  • thanks, this vid was helpful :)

  • @camx998 I'm glad : )

  • I have absolutely pale skin.. MAC in any shade is too dark for me and on top of that, I am an ivory tone (being half Italian.. I know - A deathly pale italian?!)

I understand that you may not know anything about ivory tones but do you (or anyone) have any advice?

  • @twinchomckeith Well, Ivory is generally a name used for people with a cool skintone, so you probably have more pinkish undertones to your skin. But all the info in these 2 videos wil suit cool and warm pale skin. I plan on doing more specific foundation advice for pale skin, but in the meantime, Estee Lauder and Graftobian do a great range of pale foundations for both cool and warm skin.

  • You'd be good looking either with or without a suntan. I think suntans are just fine ( hell, I get taned during June, July and August ) but I'm not some freak about it who insists on having one constantly .

  • @Skulldini I think tans are fine too.

  • You are stunning! I agree that pale skin is beautiful! I love wearing a dark lip or a dark smokey eye or even filling in my brows a little fuller and darker for a dramatic look on my lighter complexion. It's so classy I think, I love it :) xo

  • @vicnicxo Thanks for your comments, I love the look of pale skin. Filling in brows makes such a difference : )

  • She reminds me of Angelina Jolie. She really looks like Angelina Jolie!!!

  • @MsPoizonGirl Thank you

  • Haven't you ever seen that cute wonderful delighful old add of the little doggy bitting and pulling down a little tanned girls drawers, thus exposing her ass ( and probably turning on pedophiles the world over )? .. Well it sayes "Dont be a paleface" !!

  • you are so pretty!! and i love your lips that color looks amazing!!

  • @NewYorkCity0016 Thank you very much, that's so kind : ) xoxo

  • @NewYorkCity0016 Sorry for late reply, thanks so much!

  • I have the copacabana multiple form nars....and it is too dark for mee!!! i mean..it gives some shimmer, but the base of it, that beige shade..is too dark for me!! lol

  • @dhoakohime Okay, well maybe you'd prefer something like Mac Strobe Cream or Mac Pearl Cream Colour Base?

  • @daisynation thanks!! will certanly try!! i love the way yo do your make up! flawless fresh skin!!

  • I think pale skin is under rated.... I believe pale skin is SO beautiful !!!!!!!!

  • @MsPaparatz I do too, thanks : )

  • great tips!! I really like your makeup

  • @nyssettemarie Thanks : ) xx

  • you mention a red colored blush for the snow white look called "Naztaos" and you mentioned its a city in mexico ... can you please give me more of the specifics of that blush? Brand, line and exact spelling of color : ) I'm a terrible speller : ) thank you so much ... I've just discovered you and have found your information very helpful to those who are embracing our fair skin. Thanks again for sharing your tips!

  • @constancecrognale It's called Nars Taos, glad you enjoyed : ) xx

  • @630silas I'm glad, thanks : )

  • Gorgeous! Be yourselves. Pale is lovely!! xx

  • @FranklyScarlettFaced Sorry for such late reply - thank you darling <3

  • @daisynation you are soooo beautiful!!!! i love your lips!

  • Too much botox? Or natural?(dontthinkso)

  • @GROMINBLX I have never had botox or plastic surgery in my life!

  • @GROMINBLX Wow... you really REALLY needed to know that, didn´t you?

  • @GROMINBLX Some British people are blessed with full lips. You just haven't been exposed much to it yet. The more I went around, the more I noticed it :)

  • i love your voice....i could honestly just listen to you talk forever.... :)

  • @TheHorse316 Thank you so much!! xoxo

  • All the videos of pale skin is done by British people.

  • @iAnnouska Really? I guess it's because we don't get much sunshine so we tend to be paler, there's a phrase called "English Rose" that usually means pale skin and rosy cheeks haha : )

  • @iAnnouska Porcelain skin is beautiful all around the world! It could be, yes, another thing that the Brits do better as well!

  • @FranklyScarlettFaced It's starting to change though. The American media, being the most prominent, really does not beautify pale skin very much and they especially don't beautify dark skin. I remember when I attended university in the United States at Baylor, we were to analyse marketing ads. We found that most of the models were tanned and nearly all the black women were light skin. The American perception of beauty is what's now being advertised to the world.

  • @iAnnouska Very true. But it's not just color. The typical American beauty is tanned, long brown hair, colored eyes, eurocentric nose, full lips, toned body, tall, s-curved body, with full breasts. Then little girls strive to be like that and feel horrible because when they don't fit that mold of beauty. People often don't realize is such packages don't exist. Beauty is how you carry yourself. And it is horrible how much American society emphasizes on skin color. America is superficial.

  • @RedSkyNord Like Angelina Jolie, Megan Fox, Jessica Alba, yeah. It's weird how blonde hair, blue eyed people are not praised by the American media. Black women are had a big part in changing the whole mold of beauty though because black women used to be taunted because of their anatomy and now America women wish for fulls bums, full lips, and so on. American beauty is a mesh between black and white. But, it's still mostly European dominated, in the sense of hair, narrow nose, lighter skin, etc.

  • @RedSkyNord I think such beauty exists. The girl in this video is almost entirely of that America description. She has a cute mix of Angelina Jolie and Regina Spektor. I find it more admirable when a woman is beautiful naturally, not by surgical reconstruction like Angelina Jolie and Megan Fox have done.

  • @FranklyScarlettFaced I agree with you. It's a shame what my black friends always feel near shameful of their lovely, deep skin tones. It's as if the entire population seeks to be one common, average shade. I personally see the beauty in so many shades, but I tend to think that the extremes in the spectrum are most lovely, as they tend to be most different. Perhaps it's easier to be pale or very dark in certain places. I know I struggled wanting to tan in school, but I can't be bothered now. :)

  • @FranklyScarlettFaced Embracing who you are help develop confidence. Striving to change just creates self-consciousness. And I agree. Beauty comes in all colors. And, I personally find tanned skin to be tacky. Especially tanner that comes out of a bottle. It makes people look orange and uneven like giorgio armani. he looks silly.

  • This Video is SO helpful, great Tipps! Thank you :)

  • what lipstick are you wearing in this vid?

  • @mcbearness It's Mac Impassioned, from the regular line : )

  • Oh my goodness, those lips! I'm so jealous.

  • @DoobieDoesGlam Thank you! haha : )

  • @daisynation You are very welcome my dear!

  • to much make up on, you are to light to put such dark colours on your face, use lighter colors

  • @bigbang13807 I disgree but thanks for your opinion, I like the contrast between certain dark colours and light skin. I think it adds drama and looks beautiful.

  • @daisynation Exactly! its just like dark hair with pale skin! ti goes together the best! look at dita von teese, megan fox,amy lee from the band evensence, haifa wehbe, kim kardashian, rose mcgowan from the movie jawbreaker, sarah lime, etc! people who have a lighter ksintone look great in dark hair or dark makeup! I always hated that "nude look" but to each their own. I soo agree with your comment though! you said it best! the contrast is gorgeous on lighter skintones

  • @bigbang13807 Nope. Wrong. Too light makeup makes a pale face look washed out. I completely agree with @daisynation :)

  • You look like angelina jolie

  • @roseblehh Thanks! xo

  • You're lovely

  • @MalisaTV Thanks so much! xox

  • I thought it was Angelina Jolie :)

  • @MsScareAll Haha - thanks!

  • What's on your nails? LOVE the color!

  • @0waitingfordawn0 thanks, it was from a Spring mini collection by Alessandro International : )

  • Dude if you think you're pale you should see me :) haha, and my videos (most) are done AFTER I put on MAC NC15 foundation :) Still though, I love love your style. and your hair is gorgeous!!

  • @RNYValentine Thank you so much! I love the look of pale skin and I hope this video helped you to love it a bit more too xox

  • i miss you daisy. do not dissapear!!

  • @wefadetogray No worries I won't ; ) xoxo

  • just found ya, love ya already!!! as a very pale girl myself, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!

  • @michellybelly24 You're so welcome!! Glad you enjoyed xoxo

  • would laguna brozer be too dark for INCREDIBLY pale people?

  • @Katiebug17100 Not at all, it works well on all skin types. It's all about using a light hand and the right brush, that gives a sheer application eg. Nars Yachiyo brush xo

  • @daisynation thanks soo much! i might go check it out :)

  • Hi, just found your channel and it's brilliant! I have pale skin with freckles...especially right now in the summer. I am very interested in which theatrical white foundation you had in the video as there is no name. Also do you have any suggestions for foundation or concealer for my pale and freckly skin? thank you x

  • @charliebear22291 Thanks so much!! : )) It's just a no-name one from my local beauty supply store, but Screenface, Barry M and Illamasqua do a white foundation. Also Ben Nye do palettes with white foundation, hope that helps xoxo

  • Wow, when i saw the video thumbnail, I just had to come by randomly.

    Haha, how hot are you!

  • @stachiano Haha - thanks!! xox

  • Do you prefer mac's well dressed or nars' desire ? I'm having a hard time deciding between the two.

  • @kawaii63 My gosh, me too actually! Love them both. I'd say Well Dressed because it's so wearable, and easy-going. Desire is so pigmented and you may feel it's a bit too bright for everyday, so I'd go with Well Dressed first. Sleek Flamingo is a pretty good dupe for Desire xoxo

  • omg wow you look like Angelina Jolie so pretty :)

  • @fabusic24 Thanks so much, what a compliment!! xo

  • OMG youre gorgeous!

  • @spaceaardbei Thank you very much!! You've made my day ; )))

  • your voice is so soothing :')

yay for pale skin, bit hard to find foundations though!

  • @youarentpsherman I'm so glad! It is sooo hard to find foundations for pale skin - that's a video all it's own! xo

  • @Catalina031 Thank you Jan!! <3

  • Hi Daisy :) I've been enjoying all your videos. I've been very ill from chemo but I HAVE been watching on my phone. So I'm behind on my commenting. You're looking lovely...stunning really! Sending you love &blessings,Ter. P. S. Would love to know your thoughts on the royal wedding!

  • @bobbysgeel Sending love and blessings back to you, all my hopes and prayers Ter <3333...So glad I've been fun to watch. I was very moved by it, I loved the pageantry, tradition and hymns. Also, it was spooky cos my sister wore a v similar dress on her wedding and her ex-husband looks like Prince William. So it was emotional, stirred emotions for me as they sadly divorced. Loved the way she looked, and everything was so well done .

  • @daisynation I loved Princess Diana. I have lots of Diana memorabilia & my heart ached when she passed. All I could think of today was,"Diana should've been there". But it WAS a glorious day. Wow...no wonder it made you emotional! Very eerie & sad. Take care Dearheart & ty for your love/prayers. Xoxo Ter

  • My wishlist just grew massively. =) Great idea for a video!

Package going out tomorrow hun! <33

  • Respond to this video... Thanks Ania, for everything <3

  • This is a great v ideo with so many choices. I love it!

  • @Playingwithmakeup Brilliant! : )))

  • Thanks so much for this Daisy :)

  • @stardustlace My pleasure! xoxo

  • This is such a great video idea. You KNOW I'm one of those people that completely embraces the pale. I do NOT tan ever, and I very rarely use bronzer. It's funny that you mention highlighters, because I am absolutely obsessed with highlights, lol. I love illuminating products. How about doing a nude lip video for pale skin? Nice nude lipsticks/glosses for the pale girls?

  • @BalmaholicTV You are the Queen of pale embracement, you wear it well, as Rod Stewart said! lol Highlighters will obsess, they should come with a warning sticker. Good idea for the nude lip vid <3

  • I can't believe you said my name,I am thrilled and so looking forward to your skincare video.Of course I would need a plastic surgeon and a time machine to try and look like you but still want to see what you use.On you, pale skin looks fantastic.Peaches and cream complexion, flawless. You are such a doll and I adore you.xoxoCathy

  • @catmama54 I'm excited to be doing it Cathy my honey ; ) Sorry I got your name wrong. Thanks as always for all your kindness xoxo

  • I love this idea Daisy - and as a pale girl who is becoming increasingly more concerned with protecting my skin from the sun, I appreciate this a lot! This summer I want to try to embrace the pale. Watching you makes me think I might be able to make it work. :) xo

  • @lauraraelynn Glad you enjoyed Laura! You make everything work, already! You don't need my help lol ; ) xo

  • Woo! Pale skin love. Thanks Daisy! =)

  • @9nsk25 Woo - Pale Skin!! lol ; )

  • I love this! I wish everyone was comfortable in their natural skin colour, whether pale or not. I love your lip colour here. <3

  • @cosmeticjunkie17 Thank you sweetie <3

  • I have just recently fallen in love with highlighters! Have you tried any of the Urban Decay Urbanglow Cream Highlighters yet? I have the one in "Moonshine," it's absolutely gorgeous!

  • @SullenxRiot182 Love highlighters! I haven't tried those Urban Decay ones, will do though, thanks hun xo ; )

  • Oh, what lipstick are you wearing? It's gorgeous!

Loving the love for us pale skins!

  • @abberz07 Thank you!! It's Mac Impassioned lipstick ; ) xo

  • Could you please do a makeup tutorial with this face look? It's lovely :)

  • @kristaselene Thanks, will try my best! xo

  • It took me a long time but I embraced being very fair. There is nothing wrong with being pale or having porcelain skin. I hate when people tell me to get a tan- it's very closed-minded to think that only tan complexions are beautiful. We should embrace our natural beauty. By the way, I love your voice!!! I could listen to you speak all day long :)

  • @kristaselene Definately embrace your natural beauty! Thank you honey ; )) xx

  • what a great idea!! LOVED this video! thank you daisy!

  • @thelipstickdiaries Thanks Maria! <3

  • You are so knowledgable; thank you for showing us all those fun choices.

I'm lost with my Beauty Powder (MAC Shell), I don't know what to do with it. Blush over it?

You look simply luscious in that lipstick (what is it?).

    Thank you!!

  • @delacotta360 You're so welcome! I don't use many of Macs' beauty powders but they're good for blending blush, to soften it and blend it with a highlight or bronzer. Thanks very much for the lip compliment - it's Mac Impassioned lipstick xo : ))

  • @89giorgia89 Thank you! lol : )))

  • Love this video - what an inspired idea! Would you like me to pop a sample of Zero Minus in the post for you my love? xx <3

  • @camiloveskiwi I've been meaning to do it for awhile, glad you liked. I'd love to try the Zero Minus, thanks so much!! <3 xoxo

  • Definitely going to get Illamasqua's Rude blush! This video was so helpful, thank you <3 Can I ask what blush you're wearing in this video as I love peachy blushes!

  • @taintedluvx Rude is so lovely, my fav cream blush : ) It was Mac Joie de Vivre mixed with Stla Poppy, and Mac Bite Of An Apple on top lol xo
