What I call the cognitive system, part of CNS, is fitted with an inherent mental dichotomy of aversion/attraction, or simply what we have known for some time as pain and pleasure. All emotions are linked to these two response centers, all have a valence that can be connected to them.

They all can be "expressed" either through facial features, or through some kind of motion response. They can all be "activated." Normally we like to link certain movements through space with our feelings towards them. Also, there are certain events that activate emotional expresses and responses.

Facial expressions are all forms of emotional expressions in human beings. With our advanced complexity of emotion comes the advanced complexity of facial expressions. There are many animals that express their emotions differently, some even in color. But what really is e-motion?
