Not to beat the snare issue to death, but it doesn't sound like it should and I know that because I'm very familiar with this guy's Sig snare; the thing is brilliant, this video must be a mic issue because Chase is not an amateur that'd play an out-of-tune snare, anyone that hasn't checked his snare out needs to, it's right up there with the best Pork Pie's or any other Sig snare for that matter!

@ddrum121 20" drums are punchier, it's actually easier to get the metal "click" I do believe. Travis Orbin, of Periphery (formerly), Sky Eats Airplane and Of Legends is primarily a metal player, uses a 20" bass drum and he has my favourite metal bass drum sound ever.
