Have Link go on a quest in that timeframe and have all the sages there to help out or team up with him.

I think this is what it should be:

Ocarina is first, Majora's Mask, (then Link and Malon, or Ramoni for that matter, get it on. Link sets off into lost woods and some n00b gets ahold of the controller and he dies in lost woods and becomes a stalfos) baby link is born and grows up on a ranch. twilight princess happens.

i think that if you were to expand upon the idea that all the zelda games that do not have quiet apparent ties to eachother are diffrent links then they should expand upon each one of those links ( example they already havee a large split in the tilight princess and the windwaker titles so that would make the two games kind of like a diffrent demension or universe).
