I´m not disabled myself but I have a relative who is and it just breaks my heart to know there are places they can´t access. I´ve been out with her on occasions where we had to cancel a dinner at a certain restaurant or visit to a bar. Can you imagine hearing "no it´s alright you guys go ahead" and seeing your friend go home while you enjoy the night out with the rest of your friends?

Some people like to paint or read books but if you feel the magic of interacting in vast open areas with beautiful scenery and a strong story in wich you are the main character then you should be able to control it.

Heard about this stuff last night from a friend. I've thought about how much it would suck to be handicapped to the point where I could no longer game. Nice to see them doing this. The shoulder activated buttons are especially genius since it would allow amputees access to games, aswell. Here I am, looking for a modded controller to help give me an advantage, then I see this for people that just want to play normally. ><!

Aside from that, their controller innovations should help to make some video games more accessible to people with disabilities, which is a good thing.

Well, at least this is one piece of news that should help to shed some positive light on the video game industry (if it gets much needed positive exposed in the media), or at least, to shed light on attempted innovations within the industry.
