@TheDJGabizz Yes, Apple makes the drives. No, wait! They don't! I'm not a Macfanboy, neither a Microsoft one, i like both, but, your statement is a failure. A PC cannot trigger a drive to fail. If you have a Seagate drive inside a Windows-PC, and it crashes, it's Microsoft's fault? No it isn't. So it is not a Mac Failure.
@BOS6940 well it's fine to hate apple, but don't say you're glad that happened to him, it doesn't necessarily show you hate apple, it just looks like you're glad about his misfortune. your a fucking jackass you know that?
Mock me for saying this, but when it starts up it kind of sounds like a musical fanfare, but it would be amusing if the problem with the hard drive was not so catastrophic.
Some critical system file in OS X may be corrupt. This happened to my friend when he was modding the 'loginwindow.app' file, or something like that. could have been a .bin file too...
ok here it goes... I get a message before logging onto my pc and it says "Fixed" but when i sign on i am automaticly immediatly signed off. I tried putting my hard drive on another computer and it gave me the same problem.. But I dont here any clicking noises people claim to be hard drive failure.. so you think its repairable or know what i should do?>

A sad thing... My g4 mdd had the same problem, apple wanted $200 to fix the dam thing.
mbplove 3 years ago
200$? even most expensive than apple's ram!
well, an 80 gigs ide hard drive cost me aboud 40€ (which is about 50~55 dollars), so you pay that little apple on the hd 150 bucks!

Apple can't help it if the hard drive fails since they don't make their own drives.
That's the same as saying that Dell makes a bad computer because it used a Maxtor hard drive that decides to go musical.

try to write zeros on the hard drive, that will erase your hard drive to. but may fix it. it worked for me.
