This has nothing to do with free speech or imperialism. Dice was disrupting classes on campus as he has done throughout California. Now if somebody had invited him on campus to give a speech or host a debate, I'd be all for it. I think everybody's opinions shld get out. But he barges into classes unnanounced and tries to influence young minds with theories that he pronounces as fact.
