Here is my opinion: some people heard this music by the first time in spanish, and others in english, that's why they preferer their versions... I hear mine in english, and that's (maybe) because i prefer the english version ^^

I love both versions, maybe the Spanish one a little more because I've actually taken Spanish one and and Senior year I'm starting Spanish 2. I'm still trying to get used to hearing Spanish and understanding it at the same time. Its one of my favorite languages^^

That happens when a song is born in a language and then an then you try to sing it in another language, you can't just literally translated because then it will not rim, and sometimes if you don't find the perfect translation, both versions will sound very different.

This song sounds better in Spanish.

No voy a discutir de en qué país latinoamericano se habla mejor el español pero lo que está claro es que el mejor español se habla Castilla (ESPAÑA), de ahí el nombre de castellano. Por algo nació aquí, en castilla, el español. Pronunciamos todas las letras, no pronunciamos "s" donde hay "c" etc....

Eso es una chorrada. Por la misma regla de 3, donde mejor se habla ingles seria en Inglaterra, y dista mucho de serlo. Ponte a hablar con un cokney. O con un madriles castizo.

Y en Sudamerica si se diferencia entre la "z" y la "s". Otra cosa es que tu oído (y tus prejuicios) te permitan diferenciarlas. Tienes que asimilar que el idioma pertenece a sus hablantes, no es patrimonio único de los españoles.
