The fact is that on broadway, age doesn't play as much of a factor. if you can sing it, and you do fit the part, then you are that character. the original tobias in sweeney todd on broadway wasn't the age he's supposed to be, and doesn't sound like it at all. she sounds fantastic in phantom. learn more about theater before commenting on it
