The mom (off camera) was sweet for just laughing about it. Kids dont understand the importance of prayer so young they only understand their immediate desires and needs.

I think praying before you eat is kind of silly. I dont know that its in the bible. Im not religious but it seems silly to do something just because its routine. Religion is supposed to be about respect and love of God not routine

@margarete20 I think religion sometimes because routine. We go to Church the same time every week, we pray before meals, before bed. I think its a dangerous practice because it becomes like you are just going through the motions. I dont mean this for everyone. Im speaking for myself and my family

Jaydeybugz: Dude, calm down, it's totally not that serious....They are not denying him anything, they are simply teaching him patience and values and to thank the One that allowed them to have to food...it's that simple...he's getting fed, he is just being taught to be thankful for the food first and their is nothing wrong with that....What's so terrible about teaching your kids to be thankful and mindful about the things that they have been blessed with?

Also, please do not assume that religion is good when there are thousands of theorys supporting it is bad.

Killing homosexuals for instance, saying that kids that go into care are children of the devil so therefore they are abused. People have made religion bad. Something that was once a good idea has fallen completely down the drain.

@HeatherP1987 I can't help myself... While I agree that jaydeybugz's first post was a little silly, I think not teaching your children what to believe is the best thing you can do for them. My parents have their own beliefs but they NEVER spoke of them. I was able to come up with my own beliefs completely based on myself, I dislike religion and could care less about God, my brother believes in God. Yet we were both raised the same way.
