  • You hear this or the Orlon's 'Don't Hang Up' all you have to do is close your eyes and be transported back in time to when these were hits.

  • A great JUMPING song!

  • Brilliant record, beginning to end. The thing about the old days was that we were into 'records' more than simply songs or bands. There were tons of these great records that didn't produce careers for the artists who made these nearly perfect records. I don't think younger people have been that way since the Beatles. Their arrival spawned generations of band loyalty. People would buy a band's new album based on one record and never admit that they hated 80% of the tracks on it. Again and again.

  • One of my older cousins used to sing the "let me in we oo" part back in the 60's. I had never heard the recording , so I always wondered what the rest of the song sounded like. Now I know. Love it.

  • I LOVE THIS SONG!!! I have been searching, searching, and finally, it's here! I was 4 years old, and even remember the album cover of a compilation of songs that were out then. Some famous DJ, I can't remember, other than the cover was green, he wore a silly hat, and wak looking out of what appeared to be a boat/sub window. Nevertheless, THANK YOU 4 posting. By the way, I'll be 52 in May! Damn!

  • One of my fave songs from the 60s. Makes me wanna dance and have a good time!

    I love Yvonne's voice!!!

  • Great percussion, and all from a snare! Fantastic!

  • The sax is jamming . . . as is the lead singer . . .

  • Voice!

  • I love this song! I'm only 28, so I don't remember this when I was younger, but sometimes I think I was born in the wrong time period LoL I heard this the first time last night on this awesome movie, "Secondhand Lions" if you haven't seen it, WATCH IT!

  • @miskamille420 Love that movie! I think it was one of Haley Joel Osments best roles next to The Sixth Sense... Love the old guys too lol I think the movie got overlooked though

  • I remember Bonnie Raitt covered this one in the 70s.

  • DAMN GOOD-THX FOR POST!!!

  • I first heard this song at my old neighbor's (we both since moved away - ages ago) house. Her Dad played it. I never heard of it before but loved it. The neighbor's Dad passed away last week and I had to search for this song - never thinking it would be posted. GOD bless you for the memory of her witty Dad. Rest in Peace Mr. Willie

  • I used to listen to my parents old Zenith Trans Oceanic Shortwave Radio and listen to this and all the other great oldies. I loved this song. Fantastic R&B

  • c'mon rockabilly ¡¡¡

  • yay so good

  • my parents owned three 45s when i was little...2 were Elvis, and this one! i played it a zillion times. my current cd project is all songs from then, and this will be the leadoff song. cant wait to sing it!

  • Beautiful! One of my favorite songs. It reminds me my childhood.

  • it's an oldie but a (you know),,,,,,thats my message

  • Loved this song when it was released. What the heck is that beat the drummer is playing. No matter how hard you try to play it, you can't keep up.

  • *****

  • Guitars spoiled many of us, I still love the wailing sax!

The woman is really wailing! Some of the best groups of those days had a woman or womens singing lead with men accompanying them: The Orlons, Exxex. A different kind of vibe than soul, but no less a valid part of rock and roll or Black American music.

  • AWESOME !!! i have been lookin for this forever. i used to sit in front of my mom and dads old 8 TRACK player as a little kid ROCKIN' this out !!!!

  • OH YES !!!

    THANX !!!

    ET.

  • Oh I Love This Song Another one for my favorites Thanks For Posting And Sharing God Bless KTF 5********************
