they drain it once or twice a year to clean up and make sure everything is okay. it has nothing to do with the lady that was killed few years ago. they do this every year so it has nothing to do with the lady that was killed. @19kayla99, youre right. thats what happened.
They lady died because she was so obese the restrats weren't comfortable so she took then off. When it hit the drop, she fell out and got ran over by the cart.
She didn't get split in half. It was her fault completely.

What really happened was that the obese woman you mentioned was waaaaay to big to fit in the restraints safely, but the ride operators let her on anyways. When the ride went down the drop, her bulging stomach caused the restraint to release, causing her to fall over 100 ft. That was when the ride had lap bars, and that's why they have over the shoulder restraints now.

THE WOMAN WAS NOT RAN OVER BY THE CAR, she died from multiple blunt traumas from falling 100 or more feet.
