  • Our tax dollars at work.

    Money well spent, IMO.

  • Almost makes me glad that I'm being called to serve, and thank you all for what you've done, some may foget you, but you always remain close to my heart, God bless soldiers, God bless vetrains, and God bless America

  • AWesome

  • uber cool nice job lads

  • I was at a big air show and a flight of four Apache's were coming right at the crowd. I took one look at them and literally had to suppress the urge to run. They are awesome.

  • So awesome to see that you guys down there can have fun in the middle of a lifethreatening theater of war

  • NO dislikes....wow!

  • hell yeah. man. shits awsome. i doubt many people see this daily.

  • That is some CLOSE air support...

  • pause at 1:26 when the apache is looking directly at you,

    Holy Shit!

  • THANK YOU FOR HELP U.S WATCH TAKER CARE YOUR HELICOPTER ?

  • AFK flying is a bad idea kids...

  • very cool

  • That was awesome.

  • Epic.

  • You got to see an Apache, in the air, facing you. That's something few people see and live to tell about.

  • @jdlittle25 very true xD

  • @jdlittle25

unless they go to a military airshow

  • at this range an insurgent could pop up and toss a rock into the engine causing catastrophic failure

  • @bigdavek11 it would be near impossible to get a rock into the engine at that speed, and they're in an open field. i think they'd see him for he could get his rock off.

  • @bigdavek11 a insurgent wouldn't be that stupid to pop in front of a Apache nor could he hit the intake at that speed

  • @bigdavek11 So many things wrong with this statement.

The engine intakes have systems in place to prevent debris from entering the engines.

Even if one engine completely fails, the helicopter would most likely still be able to make it back to base, and if not that, then they would certainly be able to land perfectly safely.

No, the engine would not cause a massive explosion, killing the crew and the people in the jeep. Hollywood has lied to you.

  • That SUV on the median at 1:39 must have been pissing his pants.

  • pull over the friken car damnit 1:26

  • i was expecting the copter to blow you up when it faced you lol

  • I think the pilot was just texting.

  • That pilot elected not to blow you up after properly identifying you as a friendly unit.

  • That will be me one day warrant officer schooling here i come HOOAH

  • @cut76 He he. See you there, maybe.

  • Those guys kick so much ass.

  • Mighty nice close air support!

  • if i was an insurgent i would say allah and shit my pants and jump outsid hide

  • nothin boosts moral more then a 50 million dollar flying death machine having your back !!

  • That was the shit for sure!!!!!!!!!

  • Fast and Furious...American Drift..lol Bad Ass!!

  • thats a baaaaaaaad birddddddd XD

  • This is definitely a 64D, not a 64A. The FCR isn't the be-all, end-all.

  • show off

  • Now that's what I call Close Air Support!

  • enemy: crap!! it's coming at us!!!! 1:27

  • Not to be an ass, but this isn't a Longbow, it's an A, the Longbows have the radar dome up top.

  • @TalesOfWar Actually this is a Longbow, just because it doesn't have a radar on top doesn't mean it isn't an Apache Longbow. If it were the Alpha model it would have that little pointy piece on the top of the rotor hub.

  • Comment removed

  • @TalesOfWar The dome is a Longbow millimeter-wave radar and we do not have them installed on all of the 64D's It's usually 1 out of 2. We had 4 with it and 4 without while downrange and we remove them all in Garrison. This is a D. : )

  • just watch the apache, say some motivational words, and like the video and stop arguing

  • Except that it's not a longbow.

  • We call this Warrant Officer recruiting, and no the Air Force does not fly any 64's

  • @XpTMasterFree They really don't. The only branch in the US MIL that flies the Apache is the Army...and that is 100% fact...smh

  • Us Air Force ,lucky bastards !

  • @DreyfussFUBAR Uhh dude... the army uses the Apache, not the air force.

  • @XpTMasterFree Actually the Air Force does have a small Attack Helicopter Unit that uses apaches also.

  • @caddyking444 dude i live on base at Ft Rucker Alabama, we train ALL the Air Force and Army helio pilots i know FOR A FACT that the USAF does NOT use Apaches in any fashion, form, or matter

  • @himmler251 Dude my Grandpa works for Boeing he told me himself that they sold 50 AH-64D Longbow's to the USAF as to what they used them for I don't know but the Air Force isn't going to buy 50 Apaches for no reason.

  • @caddyking444 It's just 50. Relax.

  • lol i would laugh if he held up a sign that said "wazzup ma homies"

  • Seeing shit like this makes me want to live in Afghanistan or wherever this took place.

Imagine seeing this happen all the time :O

  • @Armydude991 yes but living in afghanistan or wherever this took plce does come with its own drawbacks.

  • if it's a longbow, you should specify that is a "radar-less longbow".

  • 1:36

    LOL

  • "Lt bob told them he wanted to drive a truck, not fly the heli. They just didn't believe him......"

  • thats one hell of an insurance policy!!

    you might say "full coverage"!!

  • Hehehe, i'm hoping to join you lads within the coming months.
