Drum Roll looks pretty fun; not a fan of the circus as I don't want to monetarily support animals being forced to live in small environments and perform awkward/difficult tasks for entertainment, and Ringling Brothers is notorious for abusing their animals, but this seems like a fairly unique and positive way to get that experience.

Also, the game is overflowing with colour when it's all laid out which is a big plus for me.

Drum Roll placed second to Souvlaki Wars in the first Greek Guild Board Game Design Contest. I find Drum Roll to be a very pleasant and enjoyable worker placement game. While you face tough decisions it doesn't have the "I'm drowning" feeling of some games of the same category and is therefore a bit more easy going. By the way, the minus one point is only for those players who voted to delay the show by playing round 7.

Drum Roll and Souvlaki Wars didn't compete the same year. Drum Roll came 1st at the 2nd Greek Guild design contest while Souvlaki Wars came 1st the year before, at the 1st contest.
