  • if your struggling with this take a break and keep trying it will work..took me a couple hours today but worked out...WHY WOULD YOU HAVE STUPID JOKES INSTEAD OF COMMENTARY!!!!

  • @jordanhartman12 Sorry i dont like commentary... i hate the sound of my voice... :)

  • pfff ahahahaha

  • Thanks man :)

    You saved mine x.9

  • I spend two days with my X.9 Sram shifter, thanks a lot dude for this upload :-)

  • ty m8 :)

  • cheers dude! I've been having trouble recently with my lower trigger not flicking back when changing down gears, but I shall soon be pulling the bugger apart to resolve it following this.

  • Can you repost this video without the dick jokes? It looks like someone has hacked you and I really need to put my shifter back together.

  • @tsdma5 Actually you could just mute this vid... it was not hacked. :)

  • thank you so much man, when i took the shifters apart i had a few choice phrases when i was ready to put them back together again. but this video helped so much...THANK YOU!

  • The video looks great but for some reason all I can hear is some part of a comedy skit... What's up with commentary?!

Although, watching this I can at least see where I screwed up and what I should be able to do to reassembly my shifter. THANKS!

  • could you do x7 i cant find a how anywhere

  • Very niced and good shot bro!!

  • @chris12345444 Thanks bro. Glad u liked it.

  • gracias por el aporte, me pasó lo mismo, al final conseguí montarlo, y funcionó, pero la palanca no vuelve a su posición de forma suave, volvere a desmontarlo y montarlo siguiendo este video, seguramente el muelle no quedó bien colocado

  • Thanks!! Another way … at 4:00 place the thumb shifter 180 degrees from where it is in the video. With the shifter in this position you can attach the spring to the shifter housing without the spring being under tension. You must hold the unit upside down. Screw the bolt on very loosely so that the shifter still moves freely. Attach the spring to the shifter housing. Rotate the shift around to its normal position, which winds up the spring. Tighten the screw to lock the unit in place.

  • @luke242 Thanks. That was another way I found out too. But it was after this video. And I was too lazy to do a re take. :)

  • Helpful video but,

when I rotate the shifter around to its normal position, which winds up the spring, the black metal plate (with the holes and tabs) pops off, releasing the coiled spring! How can you hold it in place? Am I missing something?

    Thanks.
