Az együttes, Tom Dissevelt és Kid Baltan a hollandiai Philips cég kutatási laboratóriumában dolgoztak, zenéiket is a Philips publikálta bakeliten. Zenéjük különlegességét részben az adja, hogy az még a szintetizátorok megjelenése előtt készült, így minden hangeffektust saját eszközeikkel állítottak elő.

Ez tényleg 1957-es. Több forrás is így említi, de nem szintetizárorral csinálták, hanem elektronikus rezgéskeltőkkel kísérletezgettek. Akkoriban kezdték a tranzisztort szélesebb körben használni. Szintetizátorokról csak a 60-as évek végétől, 70-es évek elejétől lehet beszélni.
