This song is one of my all time pieces of music ever, haunting and eternally powerful.

A few things was omitted from this short, Mr Johnson wasnt born blind but as a seven year old child, he walked in on his fathers second wife cheating, she got mad and threw lye in his face, devastating his sight forever. And he didnt die in his burned out house, he died outside a hospital, in deed sick with peumonia, denied care because of the colour of his skin. He was also a deeply religious man.

Good story, although I don't think the point they made in the film stands up to much scrutiny, I don't think anyone out there in the music business is making music for the sole purpose of entertaining aliens :)
