i say that because the original has fretlines, and it's a bad imitation (i'm only guessing it was intended to be a good one) without them.

Actually, Les allegedly had Carl make him a replica of his main Walnut 4-string, tho this seems to be the only "repeat" scenario I've ever heard of.

@SR1000EFM mrc0x is right, CT made Les a replica of his walnut 4 string bass. He probably did it because the original bass is about 20 years old and too fragile to use live now.
