  • Stay with us Chuck. It don't matter if your ting-a-ling don't ting-a-ling no more. Just stay healthy and stay with us.

  • The real rocker. I cried a little when I seen this

  • MY GOD. he still lives? i wanna watch him perform

  • Trick to staying YOUNG, as I always said... SEX with 14 year olds, Not paying TAXES, and dealling COCAINE !!! CHUCK HAS DONE ALL 3 !!! Keys to a long successful life !!! well not that successful, he's only had 1 hit after 1959, to think he hasn't had ONE NUMBER ONE SONG since he was 36...well when you create a GENRE, guess you don't have to continue writing music or making albums

  • hope you are ok sir get well soon keep on rocking

  • they'll never be another Chuck Berry, the great rocknroll poet

  • What a class act he is and will always be...we know who the real king of rock and roll is.....

  • @MrStoney2011 YES we do his name is Chuck Berry

  • What kind of camera did you use? Pretty good resolution.

  • Legendary rocker.

  • the legend.

  • I'd kill to have this guy as my grandfather haha

  • My Hero..

  • Poor old Chuck. The rock'n roll great is trying his hardest, and people still bash him.

  • What a man.

  • Hail Hail Chuck Berry

  • I love u chuck u make awesome music, so sad to see ur health deteriorating. I suggest u take a brake . you will always be a rock and roll legend

  • chuck, jerry lee, fats and chubby have outlived them all, they are the 4 remaining pioneers of rock n roll.God love them all

  • @lakemaniac

I am glad that nobody filmed how Johnny Guitar Watson died on stage because some morons would have uploaded it, too, like Chuck Berry's collaps now. Wonder how these sensation-hungry people (who upload this kind of videos) would feel if someone filmed their collaps (or the collaps of their parents & grand-parents) and put it on Youtube?!

  • what asshole dislike chuck berry

  • I haven't heard of dedication to music like this since Keith Moon threw himself at his drum kit repeatedly till he collapsed from horse tranquilizers. The comments in this video say it all really, No one blames him for cutting the show and the songs short. He knew when he walked out on that stage that he was in bad shape but he did it anyway. I think his apology says he did it for us and the music. I'll be sorry to see him pack it up, but I could never blame him for it.

  • I like how he's so old and vulnerable he's still trying to do his best playing live. RocknRoll till death!

  • i was sitting on the side of the while this was happening. He seemed extremely fatigued all night, and didn't play for very long at all, but it was still incredible to see a living legend.

  • he is a real rocker but now it's time for Chuck to stop playing live. I've seen chuck on stage a long time ago now but his actuals performances are really bad.

  • Respect total pour cet immense artiste. Tel un capitaine du rock dont il porte la casquette, il veut finir sa vie debout sur le pont, une guitare à la main !

  • I saw him in October in STL and he had as much energy and spirit as anyone I had ever see perform. Hail Hail Rock and Roll!!

  • Lets not forget, Chuck owes his sound and fame to Marty McFly! ;)

    Get better soon Chuck!

  • @CopyyyCat

    lol...love that movie!

  • lol...love that movie!

  • @CopyyyCat Lol dumb as it sounds that is kinda true ^^

or not.. for those who truly know about music and don't need to watch a spielberg's shit movie to find out the true meaning of rock

  • This man is/has been/will always be the catalyst/zeitgeist of popular music and the music called Rock N' Roll. No understatement.

  • Comment removed

  • This man is an absolute legend and that he's still performing at 84 y.o. is amazing.

  • Keef's gotta be a descendant somehow

  • Keef's gotta be a descendent somehow

  • I saw him for two ½ year ago in the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam together with Jerry Lee Lewis, two icons of Rock and Roll ! But dying in the harness should not be the finest way of dying.

But he is alive and kicking thank God ! Walking like a duck, keep going

    A fan from The Netherlands

  • What an utter legend!

  • It's OK Chuck. You've loved us for over 55 years, we'll love you back for 55 more! How many "original" rockers are still on stage at 84 today? Not many!

  • @pm0501 The Rollingstones

  • @pm0501 yes....yur right

  • That sure would be a shitty way to have his career end...I hope not.

  • I saw Chuck the night before in NYC for the 11pm show. He was magnificent. We love you soooo much, Chuck. Love love love love love. XO

  • He might be 84 years old, but he's made an awful lot of girls long to be Sweet Little Sixteen in this world. God Bless you, Chuck. And thank you.

  • The architect of Rock and Roll.

  • All the jumping, straddling of the guitar, wild movements you see rock guitarists use, well, Chuck was doing that in the 1940's. He was one of the early innovators of a style that people use and we see so often, we take it for granted and think it started with them. Nah, it was Chuck Berry who led the way, and paved the path. And don't let me start on Screamin' Jay Hawkins!

  • Hail Hail Rock & Roll! Long Live Chuck Berry !!! This guy is one of a kind!. Hope he'll get better.

  • Sad. I hope is okay. The man has so much spirit.

  • What an aamaaazing man!!

  • Chuckie - Be Good.

  • Chuck yo' da king always. We love you.

  • The great

  • He is a wonderful performer, Ive seen him many times. I hope he has a speedy recovery!!!

  • This was a very difficult evening for everyone at Congress Theater. Chuck had too many obstacles to overcome on stage. I hope he will recover.

  • HLN showed this video

  • badass. the old school performers are on a completely different level.

  • Chuck's a true living legend!

  • True legend!!!

  • besides Keef, this man's seen it all...

  • Wow. Thats why I love him. What a great character.

  • Keep rockin Chuck!

  • Keep rockin CB!

  • I hope I can have that kind of spirit and humor when I'm 84, it's a fine tribute to the man that he came back to explain to the crowd what was going on and he made an effort, many wouldn't, not sure if he should have been allowed to play in the first place because he clearly is not 100% but if he wanted to then I suppose there was nothing really they could do to prevent him from trying.

  • Haha Fantastic!
