I have a 95 meself and I think that piece of shit gearbox they have is glad that you can't disable traction. gearbox and condensation in taillights are the only flaws I can find on these cars.
my dad had a 1965 eldorado with the huge 472 in it. it would do 140 easy. he did some weight reduction to it and a better muffler and i think thats it. nice seville
@lbwd open your glove box, inside there there is a traction control button that can turn your traction control off for u, and also a Valet button so other people cant pop your trunk nor open your gas tank unless they press the button again to unlock that switch. i own a 1996 STS and yours should also have the same things within the Glove Box.
Lowering it 1" via Eibach in the springtime and putting the new 18" rims on... will try to post a better video with better performance then, now that I know how to shift. ;-)
look in your owners manual. There is a fuse for the TC. removing it will disable the TC completely however it also disables your anti-lock brakes so be carefull.
I believe when you do this the car will not start in 1st gear, having a problem with mine and it does this, no ABS and no traction control but you are limited to 2nd gear so acceleration is poor.
Yes, TC is in the glove box; however you cannot officially turn it off. It will always kick in as a safety feature. Otherwise the wheels would slide like hell.
@STEFAZON500 ya traction control is overided. we had a 95 as well and our tcs computer was shot and we lost first gear when you access your codes you can choose to turn it off completely but im pretty sure you cant do that with a 96 cause i have one and i havent found ne thing on that yet

do you think if the fuse blew that the traction control light and ABS light would come on?
