Debby has such a natural voice for singing rock and roll like most people talk. I wish she would only do this type of stuff. also if the band was more guitar. would be better without synthesizers. When you got this good of a singer(and lyricsit) and drummer, you shold do the sparest production possible.

I was in the UK the summer this came out and VH1 played it a lot. I agree with the person who said this was better than 'Maria.' Also prefer this version to the one on the No Exit CD.

Interestingly enough, this song was the other song written by Jimmy Destri, the keyboardist, on their comeback album no exit. The other song? Maria. He wrote the leading two singles and the biggest hits on the album No Exit. This is a shock to me when I found it out because he wrote none of the hits in the 1980s, when Debbie Harry and Chris Stein wrote most of the hits like Heart of Glass, Rapture, and In the Flesh (Call Me was written by Harry and Moroder, and outsider). Interesting?

Very true. I was just commenting while the ring leaders of the 1980s are still important, it is obvious that Jimmy Destri kept up with modern music trends much better than his counterparts in the band. It was not to last however as the next album to come out tanked very badly and ended Blondie's comeback.

Yea Chris Stein met his wife Barbara on the set of this video. She is the dark haired girl behind Debbie doing the little dance. I also never understood why Blondie didn't do this live in the United States or why it wasn't promoted. It did play on VH1 a few times when it was released.
