The Gayatri Mantra belongs to the whole of mankind,the whole world, and not only to hindus. This is a universal prayer for all of God's children.Yes, it's written in sanskrit so, that does not mean that it was written only for the hindus to read and practice the teaching.

@taurausbull You are completely wrong upon saying this. Hindu mantras can be recited by anyone, from any faith. As long as the person's heart is devoted towards God, that is what matters the most. Don't forget that Hinduism's greatest qualities are tolerance, compassion and the importance of service.
