Unless you're diving Koh Tao really is an absolute shit hole! Beaches are crap, it's ridiculously touristy and jesus christ monkey balls - DO NOT hire a motorbike out. :(
@showbizkeef It was different in 93. No roads but reefs, no concret but palmwood bungalows, hardly electricity and few tourists. Back in Bangkok, I told everyone to go there...and they did. So I have to apologize.
