  • i sung this with all my friends in out door school

  • As i said previously My father sung this to me to help me sleep. And when he was going to die I sung this song to him as he smiled and passed away. But the most warming part was he died with me. In his hand was mine. He even said before he passed I always loved you best, Zane

  • You guys shouldn't comment like that a lot of people like them me being one of them!

  • No soul. They are playing to the metronome. Click, click, click, click...

  • @numbnuts234567 Yer obviously not Irish.

  • @MegaDizzyDez Half Irish. My maternal grandmother left the area near the Shannon River in the early part of the twentieth century to come to the USA. I like this song and think that the Irish Rovers do a very poor job of it. The Corrie Folk Trio is one group that does much better.

  • @numbnuts234567 "soul" does not equal "arrhythmic." In fact, when a group of people is singing or dancing, it's often better to use a tempo so that everyone is singing at the same time. This rendition isn't a bar song.

  • Are these geezers northern irish or southern irish.

  • @thegeezerdan the group itself is Canadian actually, but all the members were born in Northern Ireland and immigrated.

  • @themasterofmovies Thanks.
