All the vampires on the List are supposed to be killed. In the next episodes of Moonlight. But CBS didn't like that idea, so they just fired the people who wrote the script and didn't want to show Moonlight anymore...

Berdelken94...actually the 'official' reason for cancellation is low ratings and low viewership. Silly head of CBS claimed that the show was so-so, but that the real pull was the actor Alex O'Laughlin.BTW we were 7 million strong! later I think she saw the error she made (I was part of a huge campaign) and decided to 'appease' us by signing Alex to a contract for CBS. He'll be starring in a series this fall, on CBS...3 rivers

It's not just the writer of the story, it also depends on how good the scriptwriter is. This one is so talented, aside from the subtle but hilarious script, what amazes me is the voice over from some the main characters. For 55 years all of the vampire shows and movies are mainly just to scare people as well as show killings and thats it, very little romance. This show is so multi faceted that you will never be bored, you just end up wanting more and more.

I think Twilight is poorly written with sooo many Mary-sue characters (characters who are too perfect) and it's always a happy go lucky girl story when people usually don't fall in love like that right away.

With Mick and Beth, there's more of a interesting plot when it comes to their relationship.

I agree, this show is entirely different from all the vampire shows and movies that I've seen in my lifetime. I'm 55 yrs of age and I've seen so many, this one is not a horror flick, this has everything rolled into one, drama, comedy, romance, action and of course your typical horror. CBS made a big mistake cancelling this, this could have been a very long running classic that only comes once in a lifetime. Too bad, I hope someone out there would see all this comments from all this fans.

I so totally agree - It's everything put together into one. The drama between the characters. The funny comments made by Mick, Josef, and along with some others to break up the drama. The relationship of MickBeth - how it feels more of a very realistic relationship unlike Twilight's Edward and Bella. Action scenes like the fight scenes and some of the vampire scenes. I even got one of my friends into it and she said the exact same thing. And we do feel like it was mistake to do that to this.
