  • This is the only video you have uploaded? Dude, you should do more of these!!!!

  • Take e look to this online FILM PHOTOGRAPHY MAGAZINE: lenegatif(dot) com

They feature film photography maybe you are interested.

  • lier... you can handheld and shoot 4x5'', never heard of Weegee? 0:14

  • someone said POLOROID IS GONNA GET BACK TO MAKING FILM FOR CAMS AGAIN LIKE THE X-70---ETC. I HOPE SO---A FRIEND GAVE ME THREE X-70s today----but he says currently some other company makes film at 50-60 bucks for the ten shot pack---way high priced-----and someone said FUJI still makes the type film for X 70 MAYBE IT'S CHEAPER??? I DUNNO

  • @micmoable

Polaroid IS back.... ever heard of The Impossible Project?

The Polaroid factory here in the Netherlands is producing film as we speak!

Have fun with the SX 70 ;-)

  • so does most 4x5 cameras take polaroid holders and normal 4x5 sheet film holders?

  • haha ajaime2008. You are joking right? As long as a camera doesn't have any light leaks, the only thing that effects the final image is the lens. I use a Speed Graphic because I usually only need front tilt and Caltar 150mm f/5.6 because it's cheap. You really can't tell the difference between that setup and a Linhof Technica with a Super Symmar XL 150mm f/5.6.

Awesome clip! Helped me explain to my friends why my camera weighs 30lbs.

  • hey i dont understand one thing, how do u see what u shooting??? is there a viewfinder??? i cant understand how u would focus or adjust the light if u cant see the image!!!

  • The whole back is the viewfinder. It's ground glass.

  • ah, thank you, now it makes sense!

  • I shot there a few times, good place. We should meet up

  • He gave you a rosary? Ha ha ha!!! Great video! THanks.

  • Josh, Thanks for an instructive 4x5 video demo. Are you utilizing a Tashihara by chance? If so, does the instant film back sit comfortably with the camera? Thanks again.

  • Great video. You had you stuff down without hesitation but perhaps you could have gone into a little more detail. I hope someday to get grasp of my own 4x5. Till then I will stick to my RB67

Also very sad about polaroid. :(

  • holy crap!!!!!how come you didn't sound like those on EXPERT VILLAGE....you forgot to say I'm a professional photographer......HA!!!!!!! dUDE RIGHT ON!!!GOOD CLIP....THANKX.

  • Dude you are awesome, unlike all the other jerks explaining 4by5 in youtube, your explanation was simple and straightforward, neither too technical nor too skimped on information. And it is great not to see those old jack heads who seem to rant on in a completely different language(i am kidding, but i hate the method of elucidation of our older generation photographers, they suck).

  • some useful information in here, gave me a better idea of how these cameras work. Ive got my first 4x5 camera coming in from eBay, I'm really excited to get started with it, even though ill have to get a pretty good amount of money saved up for photo processing equipment and of course film. I love the look on your face when you said the camera store man gave you a rosary, your look was like "did I honestly just say that." lol great vid!
