  • Your hair has grown so much since this video. I like to go back to your older videos to learn how to do some styles. When I do the flat twist the style will last for a day. Maybe I need to add some gel with my shea butter?

  • Great Vid! Wow! I was just looking for flat twists so I was pleasantly surprised when I got to the end. I thought the flat twists was the style you were going for but then you mentioned you would take them out in the a.m. Wow! I have been wanting a style like that but I had different ideas on how to achieve it but your way was so much easier! Thanx for posting! How long does the style tend to last?

  • Nice video! I'm trying to grow out my relaxer and its been 3 months. I don't know which way to go...I'm tired of the weaves and the wigs. My hair is extremely coarse and I'm not sure how I'm gonna work through the awkward stage. Any suggestions?

  • Nice video! I'm trying to griw out my relaxer and its been 3 months. I don't know which way to go...I'm tired of the weaves and the wigs. My hair is extremely coarse and I'm not sure how I'm gonna work through the awkward stage. Any suggestions?

  • your so rockin awsome im guna try this

  • wow i love it!

    great tutorial=)

  • what type of products are really good for maintainig moisture?

  • I love this hair style can't wait to try it this weekend.

  • Wow!!! You hair looks like it's so easy to care 4. I'm transitioning (3 mon.) and you've incouraged me to keep going. Funny, how when - was younger I tried to wear my hair like yours. But, my mother just wasn't on board with it. I guess I was ahead of my time. Anywhose, love the look on you.

    Zheahra

  • u did this video. ive tried the style and i love it

  • Love the video! I've been doing this style since the summer but my hair is maybe half the length of yours, I can't wait to see how mine will look when my hair gets longer!

  • Oh btw! Because of your great videos and instruction, I have decided to go Natural..NO MORE RELAXERS..my last relaxer was in September.....I'm not gonna do the BC .....but you've inspired me to take better care of my hair. My natural hair is very thick and curly...don't know exactly what my hair type is though. Keep up the good work girl...love the videos

  • Just put in 2 orders of your Shea butter!

  • i love your color..does it cause any extra breakage or dryness??

  • I luv 2 strand flat twist outs. Thats all I've been doin the past month. The curl u get is waaayyy better than a braid out.

  • Do you still do the weekly alternate of avocado treatment and aphoghee? I am trying to keep my hair strengthen so I was wondering if you are. You hair seems to be flourishing anyway.

  • mcgeechevelle- yes i am

  • I like how you used the pick to lift the roots and add volume. The flat twist twist-out is my signature style but I never thought to lift the roots. My twist-outs are usually pretty big but I am going to give that a try this weekend anyway.

  • I love this and it turned out really cute. I use this from time to time personally... but i'm still transitioning (five months in)....i do have a ? though. How do you maintain your twist outs? Mine are usually a two maybe three day hairstyle...after that it's ponytails for me....

  • I love this style! I watched yours vids since I went natural earlier this year. I just created an account with youtube and want to leave a comment and subscribe.

  • i need to learn how to style

  • wow that turned out really cute

  • That was class I loved the end result! :)

  • that is really cute!!

  • Very pretty. ???? Do you suggest gel in the tips, if I don't have shea butter?

  • Hi Prettydimples01!

    I have a ? to ask u...have u ever tried henna?

  • flyychic23- no

  • i think it was cute!

makes me want to try it out =)

  • I wear my hair like this ALL of the time. It gives me the same look all over my head becaus I have different curl patterns.

  • VERY Pretty.

  • when you went to color your hair, how did you ask them to do it? Did you just say color the ends? I really love your color, what is it?

  • DelynSmilez- i colored it my self. i have a video. its faded out now and has grown out thats why its on my ends

  • Cute hairstyle! Thanks for sharing!

  • I think it came out good. but the question is,was your hair wet while were doing the flat two strand twist?

  • MegaNubianprincess- yes i just mentioned how i just washed it and has some left over condtioner in it

  • i love your videos, they make me want to go natural!!

  • Your videos are very cool. Your hair is so amazing and lovely.

  • Can you do that with relaxed hair. .. I'm transitioning

  • 05jtrammell- yes just put perm rods on your ends

  • @05jtrammell i did this the other day,im transitioning too, it turned out great u should try it

  • yea that was cool. I loved it.

  • dang it! i twisted my hair tonight and i'm like "shoot, i was supposed to flat twist it tonight." *L* oh well, maybe tomorrow or next wash day. anyway, i love the pick ppl ask me all the time how do i get my hair "that way." it's just a simple twist-out, but the secret weapon is the "volumzier," that pick, to lift the roots.

  • very cute. I twist my little girls hair all the time.

  • how often do u wash ur hair??? im natrual too and i wash like once a week.

  • gobble14- once a week unless i have in twist

  • love it!

  • Very cute!!!

  • im not your superwoman!!!i'm young but thats my jam!!!!!!!

  • very nice

  • Cute!

  • actuallly i loved it !! beautiful waves and your hair looks healthy :)

  • That turned out to really cute! I didnt think it was going to be so wavy. Very nice!

  • I love it! I think it turned out great, very pretty.

  • Very cute! I just love how relaxed and elongated your curl pattern is; I am so envious of that. My hair shrinks so much after being washed and the curls are very tightly coiled up; it never hangs like that

  • I like it. Very pretty!

  • oh that turned out cute, u look like olivia that girl who used to rap with gunit

  • anavywife28- lol someone else on here told me that. i don't see it though

  • I meant do you think the fact that I sweat at night would make the style not last as long?

  • tippeetoez- yes that will affect how long your style will last. you may be better off doing single twist all over and retwisting everynight before bed

  • How long does this style last? I sweat while I sleep do I have to tie my hair up with a scarf at night so that my edges and roots don't get extra-puffy. Do you think that would make the style not last as long?

  • Ugh, I wish I could do flat twist but I'm just too lazy! Lol.

  • Love your makeup...very natural and just enough! beautiful hair as well...very cute look

  • very nice!

  • so what do you use to oil your scalp?

  • Jelicke- i don't

  • It turned out beautiful!!!

  • your hair always turn out so FAB!

  • That is so pretty...it almost looks like the half wig...Cant wait till i'm natural...transitioning for 2 months now...rocking micros

  • nice...thx for the effort!

  • I apologize if u have ansswered this in sa previous video but, what did u use to dye ur hair? i would like to dye my hair a similar color.

  • dtaylor8303- its a faded color but i have several videos

  • LOVE IT!!!

  • this was one of my favorites styles that you've done so far....it turned out so cute!

  • aww i loved it! can't wait to try that when my hair grows back out!

  • looks really pretty and shiny!

  • Very nice!!!

  • nice music in the background!

  • pretty!

  • Soooooo cute. I really like that!!!!!!!!!!!! Im looking forward to being able to get those styles.

  • NICE

  • It came out cute! I'm gonna try to do it that way again today. Single twist take so much more time.

  • Karen White-Super Woman! Use to be my song!

  • pretty!

  • great definition!

  • your hair is growing! go girl.

  • I love the style!! Great tutorial...thanks for slowing down the twisting process! I think I finally got it!! We'll see! I am still having a problem with adding volume with the pick at the end. I always pick too much...any suggestions??? Thanks!!

  • Love the style, that hardest part of my journey is staying natural and waiting for my hair to grow so I can mimic some of your styles!

  • One of my favorites....very cute! I was actually going to try this on my hair before viewing this video.

  • Ahh! A Joe fan!! That's my boy!!!

  • Great tutorial, but i was more excited with the Karen White- Superwoman, in the background! I'm a old school fool! LOL

  • it's FLY even tough u it did not come out the way u wanted ** envy** <3

  • Love the do!!! I will try it myself. Let's see how this style holds up after sleeping on it. By the way, what is your hair type 3a, 3b?

  • it still turned out pretty!

  • Gorgeous -- looks great :)

  • Great tip. I just got my PrettyDimples shea butter mix in the mail. My hair always turns out frizzy. I have today off so I will be trying it.

  • Giggra- good, let me know how it turns out

  • b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l

  • cute style girl!

  • Cute as usual!

  • looks great! i'm having a little trouble with your website but i'm definitely interested in your shea butter mix! :)

  • neolissa- yea it was acting up last night but it should be good now

  • thats soo pretty!

im learning how to flat twist my hair too

  • looks good

  • Yea i had problems with my twist outs before, and on saturday i did two strand flat twist and I took my time and separated the hair as i was doing it and this morning i took my hair out and my curls were very define. I had also did bontu knots at the end my flat twist. So i think the advice is very helpful about taking your time and separating the hair.

  • that is really pretty i love it

  • hey @ empressm6 ~ I sometimes use Infusium 23 LIC...I like it.

you have such great styles pd01

  • It is easier to do the flat two strand twist for a twist out or it is less time consuming than single two strand? Is it a different level of definition?

  • tsnell80- no its actually more work but when its done right it comes out alot nicer. i just can't seem to do it right. i'll have my aunt do it and you will see the difference

  • Love it! You make those flat twists look SO easy.. :)

  • Cute

  • cute, came out really cute.

  • WOW. . .that came out sooo nice and defined!

  • I have to contain myself b/c everytime I see your videos I'm tempted to BC!!! Lovely hair :)

  • wow very cute

  • they turned out cute. now how do you maintain them?

  • sultrydoll- i'll have a video on it tomorrow

  • thank you! :)

  • they came out hecka good !!!!

  • Cute!

  • Very pretty Tiffany.

  • Came out very pretty as usual!!

  • Try positioning your hands the same as if you were going to corn row it might be a bit easier. Also, when your hands are set that way it kind of causes you to turn the hair in addition to twisting the strands around each other. I hope u understood my meaning lol. It looks sick! I mean like serious spiral curls. U should try it I think you would really like the turnout.

  • empressm6- yea i understand what you mean. i know how to flat two strand twist with no problem it having them come out like a twist set looking good. so the way i was doing it was not for the twist to look good but for the twist out to look good.

  • Ok...I see. You should try it tho...my best friend has hair like yours and that's how I do hers (she doesnt like combing her hair lol) The "out" effect is lovely. This came out nice as well even though you didnt like it.

  • O and a question for you: Do you think it is ok to use Infusium 23-Leave in Treatment as a daily spritz?

  • empressm6- i don't know much about the product. never used it. but as long as the ingredients look good i don't see why not

  • Ok thank you...

  • love it !!!!!!!!!

  • That is such a nice style. I love doing a flat twistout or a cornrow braidout they give a diff look! Your hair looks so soft and luscious!

  • vida130- its the shea butter mix. :)

  • this did come out very nice and defined.

  • your link on the right isn't working, the one for the shea butter.

  • cjcaress69- it is its just the site is doing updates but it will be up again. thanks though. :)

  • that looks so nice on u!!!
