  • This is from Monday, October 6, 1986 ("The Late Show" premiered three days later on October 9, thus marking the beginning of the Fox Network).

  • @Chenoholic88

It had to be sometime in the early 90s, cause I remember it being on my Channel 2 as early as 1992.

  • are you channel surfing?.

  • ok i got the winning lotto numbers for 1986 anyone got a time machine i can use

  • That Lotto music is great. Brought back memories

  • The same opening at 3:00 was used in the D.C. Channel 5's 1986 showing for Rankin-Bass' "The Stingiest Man in Town".

  • Ah, the 80s.......WFLD was cool.

  • Wow. I totally guessed that 1-0-7 was coming up.

  • The lottery drawing in this video was great.

  • Good evening to you oldstuff86. I think the title of this video should be changed. I would put in the title of this video the following: WFLD 1986 Illinois Lottery drawing commercials movie ET open. I would also include the Entertainment Tonight tags to this video. BTW did you find anymore lottery drawings yet?

  • Hello to oldstuff86, Can you please add the tags, Illinois , Lottery, drawing, to this video? Thank you.

  • I think they going to

make the day the earth stood

    still right?

  • WFLD-TV's "Movie 32" had the same intro as the "Channel 5 Movie" when it was shown on WNYW-TV (formerly WNEW-TV) in New York. Thanks so much!

  • Not only that, but other big city Fox O&O's also used that same graphic, like WTTG in Washington DC, and KTTV in Los Angeles.

  • Ditto for WFXT in Boston.

  • I see a few images from when the Minnesota Twins won their championship in October 1987. I think you are wrong on that. But that should be from 1987, not 1986.

  • You're right about the Twins winning in 1987 not 86, actually that was a different tape at the beginning part that i accidentally captured to the computer while looking for stuff. The WFLD stuff was from 86 though, thanks for the comment

  • Wow, ET was 32? Man, this station was the equivilent to WCIU in 2008.
