It was pretty decent, but one thing I noticed is that when the line "Too long I've been afraid of losing love I guess I've lost. Well if that's love, it comes at much too high a cost" comes up, the chorus sings LUV, not LOV. It doesn't matter who you are, if you are a chorus of any kind, you do not sing the word love as LUV.

I thought the choir was a little overpowering for the instrumentalists, and I'm not really sure they needed a drummer, but the piano accompinament was fine. I have played a few piano accompinaments, and it is NOT easy, so considering this, I think the piano was fine. I think the soloist was really good though.

The soloist did a good job. We're singing this same version. Our guys sound more sure of the notes than the guys in this choir. The piano accompianist isn't very good. But overall good job.

I'd also like to comment on the Calhoun high school version, here, because you can't on that page. That one is really bad!!! The soloist looks like she's psycho and the guy next to her looks like a stalker. Their choreography is really, really bad!!! You guys did a lot better, but my group did better.

I like that you guys tried to do it your way. It certainly sounds interesting and its not the same thing over and over again. But to be honest....it sounds like something off of Kidz Bop CD. Maybe if you guys were a little older to sing it, it would sound better. I'm glad though that you guys made this into your own thing. I agree, I'm a little tired of ocd Idina fans that can't accept that she was FAR from the best person to sing this song, I love her with all my heart but Stephanie J Block, Kerry Ellis, Shoshana Bean, Nicole Parker, and Eden Espinosa, to name a few, are far more powerful singers than Idina and do just as much, if not much more, justice to the song than she was ever entirely capable of. Sorry to say it but it's true. I'm in a choir and one of our problems ins emotions. This sounds like us when we don't have any emotion in a song. It happens but it's fixable. Other than that, everything was wonderful. Soloist had a beautiful voice too.

Might I say though, that I couldnt help but notice at about 32 seconds, the girl behind the soloist turns away and does something with her hair? Eek! Please tell her that you cant do that kind of thing on stage, it looks really shabby.
