Is there a way to get rid of a pimple that is like pretty average size but looks like really dead (or is dead) and it still not isn't flat down like the rest of the skin? It is like a pimple that wasnt popped and now it is just dead there elsewhere other than the face. How do you get rid of it? Any advice?
Hi, Does the clarisonic exfoliate? or is it more of a mechanism for cleaning? I get flakey skin on my chin from Benzoyl peroxide and the clarisonic doesn't seem to take it away at all...thanks!
My face really irritates me. My face gets a lot of "flakies", gets very oily, and I have lots of acne. I don't really understand why I get flakies considering my skin seems oily..
ok i get allergies really bad and because i rub my eyes alot and is constantly blowing my noes, my skikn is very dry and flaky, wat can i do to get rid and prevent this dryness? plz help
Ma face is such a freakin trouble because it is very oily with the acne also blemishes and scars( left fro the sun exposure and acne, i guess). Ma face just looks dark wit those brown spots and unhealthy. Any recomendation??
@dubibearock It would be best to add in an exfoliant into your routine. Dark spots (hyper-pigmentation) can be very difficult to get rid of and take a lot of time and patience You may be best to see an esthetician face to face for options. Microdermabrasion and laser are effective at getting rid of spots. I'm sorry I can't help more!
@dubibearock Don't listen to her. I cleaned up my diet and started drinking pure water and it cleared up my skin. Your skin reflects what is going on internally.
@bieberkkaylawashere1 There no real need to be using a toothbrush. It won't necessarily give any additional benefits and could very well be too rough. If you would like to use a brush, they have the simple facial ones available at most drugstores or more advanced facial cleansing brushes like the Clarisonic are an option.
@Smile2k8Productions Thank you for the question. Oily skin is considered a skin type, so is unfortunately not possible to get rid of, just to control. Look for gentle, foaming cleansers and products that contain low percentages of salicylic acid. This dissolves oil and can help to control it during the day. Mattifying mineral makeup is also beneficial.
Hey thanks for the tip! I have oily/combination (I get dry patches now and then) skin and don't know what type of exfoliant works best for me. I also have acne (one or two a month but mainly scars) so I don't know if that will prevent me from using exfoliants on my face. I'd appreciate any feedback/advice. Thanks again, this is a helpful video.
4. Mask (pm 1-2 times a week, same night as exfoliating is great)
5. Serum (am and pm if using)
6. Moisturizer (am and pm)
7. Eye cream (am and pm)
Professional facials are a great idea to have about every two months. Stronger products, a current assessment and a really deep clean that cannot be achieved at home. Plus the relaxation!
Crushed nuts or shells can be much too abrasive for the face. You need exfoliants that say they are spherical , are made of rice or bamboo. You can also go with enzymatic ones of AHAs. Mechanical exfoliants are the least effective and most irritating. But a well formulated one can still be beneficial.
Yes, I'm sorry. I try and slow down but no matter how slow it sounds in my head I'm always told by some people that it's still too fast. I include all of the information on the side in the info box as well.
Oily to combination skin should be exfoliating 2-3 times a week. Most masks should be used once a week. There is a certain amount of irritation risk with that particular exfoliant. But if you are seeing results you like, then there is no need to change. Thank you for your question.

Look for a product that contains spherical beads, is enzymatic of has AHAs. I hope that helped!
@beautytipsvancouver I don't think you have to apologize for talking the way you do Sheena! Personally I can understand you just fine and the people who are complaining are rude in my opinion.
