Africa is an unending sinkhole to throw money into. 500 billion dollars have been given to Africa since the 70s and nobody can really point at any improvements as a result of it.

No improvements? I would say that saving millions of peoples lives with the help of numerous non-profits is something that should not be spoken lightly about. Yes Africa has a number of issues and many of them can be blamed on those in power, but no such struggle is one over night and your pessimism is not helping. Human life is always worth fighting for.

When did this happen ? During the colonial times. like 100 to 150 years back. For the record most slaves taken out of Africa were bought. One tribe were simply paid to go and round up another tribe and sell them off as slaves. This has been going on for hundreds of years in Africa. How do you think they built the pyramids 4000 years back. There has been people in Africa 100 000 years longer than Europe and still NO technology or inventions have ever come from there. Nothing to do with racism.
