@terbangnova nononono please dont be dissapointed. thai airways' costume has 3 types. 1 is the thai silk, the second is the nomal uniform and the last is the service uniform this uniform is for serving the meals and drinks. the thai silk dress is only used when welcoming and serving basic sevices on the welcoming session and then later on, when serving the meals they will change the crew to another group that are dressed in the meal serving uniform. we still use the thai silk dress DONT WORRY :)

although i have heard very good things about thai airways i have always been put off flying them to australia or thailand due to the fact they use the 747-400 LHR-BKK that feature non seat back screens which i cant believe, if they was to operate the a340-600/500 or the 777-200/300 then i would happily give them a go

that is becuase the silk dresses are only to be seen onboard....the flight attendants will walk out of the plane wearing modern corporate uniform, which of course, is easier to move around

Thai airhostesses seems to change from silkdress to ordinary uniform prior to landing.

They always wear silkdress when you, the passanger boards.
