This is probably the only response to the Prop 8 fiasco that makes sense to me...People need to stop joking around when it comes to issues such as these....The "star studded musical" -however funny it might be - irks my mind as I feel we need to be a little more aggressive about our rights...
Cheers to you Tom for making me feel that at least feels the same way as I do....
What a powerful set of emotions that are coming through your music ... rage, despair, and (dare I say) hope. This recent setback is just that ... a temporary setback. As evidenced by the nationwide peaceful protests and the rallying of our straight allies, I believe that we will ultimately prevail. Thank you, Tom for putting your emotions into such a powerful medium.
Thanks for putting that out there. I have been a bit lost to put something into words that doesn't sound like a rant. I am just confused, lost, and angry that civil rights has now become a matter that is to be decided by the populace, protecting their own status quo, as apposed to inspiring leaders bringing about new trains of thought, leading this country to enlightened times?
I just don't understand why people care so much about what I do in my life. I'm so disappointed that in 2008 we are still treated like 2nd class citizens. It's sad that other people get to decide what we get to do or not do when it's really none of their business
When I found out, I cried. I couldn't help it. I thought that most of America had finally realized that we all bleed the same, but I was wrong. So wrong.
I really like this, it's very strong and shows a lot of emotion.
Wow...I really do feel you. I fought for the NO on 8 campaign, and gave it my all to see that, in the end, intolerance won. One eye shed tears of happiness, and the other eye shed tears of sadness. Apparantly, I'm still a second-class citizen.
Thank you for your piece. It truly is a very powerful outlet for the anger and sadness we all feel.

I gave a lot. But I did not see much inspiration from my own community, especially compared to the Yes side.

Thanks Howard, that's where music comes in. It is able to speak the emotions our words cannot.

Wonderful video, Tom. Even for those of us not in relationships, marriage equality is a huge issue and very emotional.
