Cool YES and I WANT ONE.. BUT.. The face recognition and all that.. thats gotta go. I think they should work on things like running, cleaning, sensing when to make emergency calls due to severe decrease in owners health. USEFUL things that will improve our lives while also keeping certain limitations on the emotional software. Wi-fi capabilities for data searching like directions or just questions. NAO? gather yesterdays GPS data on vehicle 2, from 6pm to 11 pm. I believe wife 3 to be a cheat.

You'd have been right, if that was a prototype or if the first robots were invented last year, but neither is true. They develop robots for several years so this low performance is simply inexcusable. Obviously they are trying hard to make something they can't. I don't want to hurt any developer's feelings, but since they show it to me, I'll judge it honestly. Saying "wow" "cool" etc without feeling it, is not my style. It also seems we don't have the same criteria, get over it.

I saw this Robot yesterday at the British science museum , and it was amazing how the children interacted with him, they treated it as if it was one of them , in the same way that a child would look after a younger sibling. I took some video and will post as soon as poss' !

Its neat, but its not real emotion, just mimicry. Alot of people say that that is a terrifying prospect, but I think it would be absolutely wondrous. Not sure what use an emotional robot would be to everyday life, but still.
