@kevincrutchley - This would be a harder OC and if used at this clock for an extended period, yes, I would recommend an aftermarket cooler, However up to about 3.2 Ghz these CPUs can run with the OEM heatsink/fan. My E 5400 is running just fine @ 2.96Ghz on stock fan and voltage since May.
