I always got within the top three for speed. You just make the front really thin and have it smoothly go up to the top of the provided wood at the back, put the pennies in the back as well up to the highest weight allowed, and you get a really fast car! Never won the design contest though :D

ahh this takes me back! I took part in one Grand Prix. I didnt win, but I got a snazzy participation ribbon!
