  • IMMEDIATELY. IMMMMMEDIAAAATELY I SEE A FUCKING EMO FIGHT!

    *screaming*

  • stop arguing about stupid shit and appreciate the song, nerds.

  • Emo, originally, was a style and subculture formed in the eighties that had a lot of influence from 70's metal and punk. The name came from emotive Records. The more you know!

  • @YourunkownSister

    Oh please kill youself

  • My favorite Moss Icon song :)

  • @YourunkownSister -I try NOT to be emo retard, "emo" is one of the stupidist terms ever, ask Ian Mackaye, "emo" makes no sense, because it means "emotional" and people can't be un emotional, but ur probably too dumb to comprehend that anyway, but to clear it up, I know i'm not emo and i'm not trying to be, "emos" are fucking retards like you.

  • I thought emo was like Tokio Hotel.

    Now i'm blessed.

  • @AdDeOWN -I used to think like that to, NO LONGER

  • how the fuck is this sad??? He's talking about how happy he is. Did you guys even read the lyrics before you commented? I doubt it

  • @Devaprakash777

    SHUT UP!

  • @YourunkownSister -where the fuck did u come from bitch??? Learn some fuckin manners, don't talk unless someones talking to you, asshole.

  • @Devaprakash777

    what about you

  • @YourunkownSister -what about me??? I was simply expressing my opinion on a song and u come there and tell me to shut up, i have the right to say whatever i want, what's wrong with what i said anyway???

  • Wow this reminds me of At the drive in although Im sure these guys are way older

  • This song is incredibly positive, its the only song that makes me happy when I'm jamming out by myself without anyone else.

Anyways for anyone trying to argue about "emocore", just take a look at these "80s emocore" bands. They really didn't care what they were wearing, and I give them props for just being musicians. Alot of bands sport clothing lines and stuff, like Mad Sin and Casualties nowadays. I just call this genre "Ian MaCore" nowadays. Or Dischord wave, whatever. It's all bullshit.

  • I know I'm a few months late to this whole ,"This song is genric emo crap" debate, but I would still like to point out that, for all those arguing and all those who think that this song is genric, whiney emo music, that the lyrics are actually incredibily positive.

  • best song of moss icon

  • god ppl stop argue ing. evry1 haz their own opinion. if u dnt f*cking like this then dnt listen 2 it. and there is nothin wrong with being emo! god. . .

  • There's nothing wrong with being emo, you know. It's just a way of life.

  • it isn't a fucking way f life. It WAS a sub-genre of hardcore, then it became a trend for MTV and Clear Channel to exploit. there is a fucking difference.

  • so true.

  • @fartsmachine yeah? thats hard to believe i think revolution music movement exploited itself it wasnt there yet

  • @mediattackrecords music in actuality is only a pseudo movement

  • @fartsmachine noone exploited hardcore the A and R of new emo bands couldnt keep up and it ended up being hippy rock and pop deglobalized and thrown into mainstream american media

  • @mediattackrecords "emo"or hardcore is more or less revolting jazz and classical a good amp tone should communicate a traditional classical instrument somewhat wrecked the problem is with "perfect core" is that the ears and A and R has gone kind of ignorant of music theory and into a more or less naive state

  • @fartsmachine Exactly, retarded posers and wannabes think it's a lifestyle, REAL emo died out in the 90s now nearly every faggy pop-rock band are labeled emo, This is the real thing. The term emo was used by Punk Veterans to bash the fans of the new emerging genre, that's why they were called emos

  • its a fucking type of music its art not a stupid excuse to dress in black and cut your vains open

  • This is fucking art.

If the bands of today who consider themselves "emo" could stop being bitches and making a mockery of emo and listen to real music like this, maybe we wouldn't have dipshits like you stereotyping the genre and the people who play the music.

  • So I suppose you're one of those prancy's who listen to all the mainstream crap singing about sex and drugs and writing love songs that all oddly sound exactly the same.

Am I right? I mean, I respect opinions that don't exactly agree with mine, but I don't respect it when asshats like you come to videos to start arguing and flaming.

  • no you are not right. i listen to anything that is musically impressive and composed well. not this garbage that people pretend to like cuz they want to seem misunderstood

  • Fuck that, I like the melody and the lyrics. I don't listen to this to try to "relate" or to say "It's like it was written for me! These guys understand me!"

Not the case, I listen to this because I got tired of all the bands now saying they're "emo" and make a mockery by mixing pop and singing songs that make them sound like whiney bitches.

And turns out, this was really good, and I thought I was gonna hate it. Again, I respect your opinion, but don't start flaming.

  • If the kids you speak of listened to Moss Icon that would completely reverse my view of them. This is Moss Icon's most melodramic and cliche song I've heard by the though, if you are speaking from the informed view then try songs like Hate In Me and Lyburnum Ends Wit Liberation Fly.

  • who said anything about being misunderstood? you're stereotyping.

  • stop taking yourself so seriously because no one thinks you're cool

  • ouch, moron. That one left a mark.

You know man, you are so cool insulting a person through youtube.

Just post your opinion in a civilized manner and gtfo. Thanks.

  • no one cares about your opinion please keep it for yourself

  • Get fucked. If you havnt got anything positive to say.

  • Anyone know if there is any live Breathing Walker footage?

  • wonderful music, wonderful text...

    my favourite text part:

"waves caress the foamed shore below. resonating ultrasonic through the cliffs of their sound"........

i can imagine the thunder of the shore... and feel the beautiful day...................... beautiful days are rare.........

  • lawl, 80's emo

  • @pashedmotatos THIS IS FROM THE 90'S U DUMBASS!

  • @KillKyle712 fuck off :)

  • @pashedmotatos JUST GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT

This is the only music I listen to so I will not stand by while you slander it.

    You fuck off =]

  • @KillKyle712 Most of the music by Moss Icon was released in the 80's anyway so it's natural to assume it was the 80's Moron.

  • @pashedmotatos

Artist: Moss Icon. Album Title: Lyburnum. Release Date: 11/4/1994

    fucking retard, learn music.

  • @KillKyle712 Now I realize you're a troll.

  • :-D Good song!

  • so good

  • you are the shade breeze. you are the shade. you are the shade breeze blowing. the movers of the stream. Words eye. stops breath withholding the heart within its rib cage and it stops for a moment. Waves caress the foamed shore below, resonating ultrasonic through the cliffs of their sound. I was hoping that you would make it, and I'm happy that you could. I was hoping that you would make it. I am happy that you could. And I will see you again.

    - MOSS ICON - GRAVITY -

  • i believe it's "the movers upstream" and " the cliffs and their sand."

  • those are the correct words. I am the singer for moss icon. I never have the patience to go through correcting all of the misqouted lyrics I find on the internet. Thanks
