the point is that you suggested that Pierce is a ballhog because he has less assists. but the fact is that on Celtics it is Rondo, Marbury or House who handles the ball whereas 70% of the time on Cavs its Lebron (and about 80-90% last year). It is obvious that if ball is always in ur hand u gonna get some assists. Plus before the trade Pierce had 5 assists per game which is decent considering he didn't have tha ball as much as Bron

I have to disagree, yes he was the main option on offense but they still had a point guard. on top of that his 5 assists compare well to Lebron's who used to average 6 or 7. Marbury is a great pick- a veteran allstar who they got for pretty much nothing. He is a good replacement for Sam Cassell and just like him Marbury provides a scoring option off the bench. but then again u wouldnt know nothin about that

Yeah, you're absolutely right around Marbury (IN THEORY), that's WHY they signed him but he's been absolutely horrible so far. Look at how horrible his stats are in the games he's played for Boston...

2.7 ppg, 2.8 apg, 0.9 rpg, 0.3 spg, 0.1 bpg. His freethrow percentage is 50%, his 3 point percentage is 15.4% and FG% is 27.9%. All in 17mpg. That as by far the worst season he's ever played in his career and its clearly not because of the minutes hes getting.
