  • We Belong To The Night is one of the best Hard Rock metallic style songs EVERRRR.UFO FUCKING RULES.

I love Michael, but Paul really kicks ass (so ignored as UFO)

  • Fucking great track UFO forever!!!!!!!

  • wow really 1 dislike REALLY??????

  • anyone know where I can find the sheet music to this?

  • Estoy contigo Tommydangerx, que tiempos aquellos always.Y EDGUY ?

  • 1 gay dont like this song, im gonna kick her/his ass

  • If you think about it, who could replace Michael Schenker? Tonka Chapman steps in and produces some killer UFO tunes! I love Schenker; I love Tonka!!!

  • This song is killer.

  • kick ass rock n roll

  • Great song.

  • i am biased , just seen them from small clubs to stadium , really good live. maybe because i bought very single LP

then an ex set light to them all. hey thats life

  • Not live buddy....

  • UFO has always been one of my favorites, but I play them for a lot of friends and find a lot of people who find it too raucus for their tastes. I always thought that Michael had a bit of a neo classical style that seems to be missing with this guitarist, and we seem to be getting just straight rock.

  • @Zyworski I`ve come to the conclusion you`re either a Rocker or you`re a pussy tell your friends to choose ! This is one of the few songs UFO nailed w/out Schenker.

  • Talk about a hard workin' band.....U.F.O. is it. What an outstanding bunch of ROCKERS!...I had no idea PETE WAY formed FASTWAY with "FAST" EDDIE CLARK...no wonder FASTWAY kicked ass.....Rock On U.F.O.!

  • This Band does fuckin Rock...as does this song...classic "attitude" rock n' roll...

  • Beautiful RIFF & Catchy beat keys & ALL Thank GOD there was guitar lead among the KEYS .Can't fault MOGG one of the greatest front man on the planet .Brilliant EFFORT after SCHENKER .UFO always flying high above the TOP of the HEAP!!!In a WINK of an eye these BOYS will FLY!!!!

  • all this album needed was less cheezy keyboards

  • agreed ...they tried to be trendy and get all keyboardy - some horrible keyboard solos - yuk

  • @flyingvkid I think the four albums with Chapman are great...keyboards and all. Fit the era well.

  • I love the 80 to 83 UFO songs.

  • fuck jesus, he didnt rip on a flying V

  • Schenks Tonka.Atommy.. IF YOU went to see UFO what would you want as first song ???

    for me

    "HOT'N'READY

    Michael Masterpiece..

  • @timechannel Natural thing

  • @timechannel I guess my choice would be "Oh My".

  • i've seen UFO on many occasions, in at least 11 cities, and they've always opened with either "natural thing" or "mother mary"

  • now open with songs from most recent album.always used to open in america with natural thing. In 2009 saving me. all are good songs still always play mother mary.

  • I liked Paul Chapman and choice of sounds, but he was always intoxicated when he played live and his ability did suffer. I was witness to it many times.

He was terrible live because of drugs or whatever he was on.

Now Micheal Shenker could still play even with his addictions, but his personal life and his mind was messed up because of it.

Drugs and booze are for the devil and it will destroy you in no matter what you do.

Just say NO to drugs and Yes to life in Jesus Christ

  • Jesus, Our Lord drank wine.....

  • Jesus also used Cannabis (oils) Yes he did. He probably would have played a mean guitar as he was a very smart man

  • yessss, you think alot of the way i do and you get a -1???stupid ppl.

  • @lstevens35 I gave you both a thumbs up to help your negative score. Right on, bros.

  • What a load of SHIT. I saw Tonka with them many times. What he didn't do was always stick the recorded solo's. I have bootleg CDs and he sounds great.........

  • @taff622 You know not what you talk

  • I wonder if UFO has ever played this song live. The reason I say that is odd becouse radio played this song at the time of the release and I and may other UFO fans never heard of this ploayed live..It makes me wonder..

  • that I know of? played live in Germany at a soccer stadium. Sorry i was too buzzed to remember where but THIS BAND ROCKS

  • They opened with it here in the US when they toured in support of Mechanix.

  • No They opened with"We Belong To The Night". But if they did play it at some shows cool...I use to hear this song on the radio when "Mechanix" came out in early '82..

  • I saw them open for Ozzy's "Diary" tour in Rochester, NY. I could've sworn they opened with The Writer. I don't recall them playing "We Belong To The Night" or "Let It Rain" at all. Of course, this was half a lifetime, many concerts, and too many pints ago so I could be wrong.

  • live version of ♪The Writer ♪wants to look, too!

  • "Mechanix" est un super album d'UFO, il y a d'excellentes composition dont la sublime "Terri" ou encore "Doing it all for you".

Paul Chapman a fait du super boulot sur cet album, great sound Paul!!!

    (five stars)

  • kl song

  • Did UFO really make a bad song? I haven't ever heard one myself to be honest. Paul Chapman never got a lot of credit being in Michael Schenker's shadow * which are hard shoes for ANYONE to fill* , but he was a great guitarist. As was Paul Raymond ( guitar AND keyboards) and the same way was Neil Carter ( guitar, keyboard AND sax!) UFO had some of the best musicians out there and never got the credit they deserved.

  • it takes intelligent people to enjoy the talent of these excellent musicians , and Michael , and Klaus Mine, and Phil Moog.....USA is not the place that will appreciate these guys, 'cus the dummies dominate our media and our schools...

  • Scorpions have sold aprox 75 mil albums & I would think The USA accounted for half of those sales. I`m 46 living in San Diego & I have been a UFO fan since 78

  • hey, LordG3, I'm in SD as well and 46, \m/ Did you see UFO last year at Brick by Brick? A great show, packed with loyal fans and the guys were so accessible, they came out of the tour bus after the show and chatted up the people, photo opps and autographs, pure class ....

    Heads up...MSG with original lineup playing at 4th n B, Sunday, June 14, 2009

See ya there, you buy the first round...hahaha.

  • UFO were extremely successful in the USA. So too were the The Scorpions, more popular in fact, so the dummies do have some taste! At the end of the day, it's a matter of opinion. By the way, it's Mogg, not Moog, who's the dummy now?

  • I could name 1000 famed guitarists who played much more tasteful than Paul Chapman. His alcohol abuse really made his music ability suffer. Alot of out of-tune technique doesn't help. Too bad Mattias Jabs wasn't on at least one of the UFO albums while Shenker was in absence.

  • Love this riff.

  • I need this song! Where can I get it?

  • it was just reissued on cd w/ bonus tracks, it's also on itunes.

  • Yes sir.

I bought it on iTunes. Worth every bit of 99 cents!

    It's still so "relevant".

  • UFO has been one of my favorites ever since I was a kid growing up in the 1970s. Under rated? You bet! Ass kicking badass ROCK N ROLL sound? You bet! These guys have produced some many great guitar riffs and licks you can't count them all. I can't tell you how many bands I've seen that have ripped them off over the years. UFO remains at the top of the heap! The song MYSTERY TRAIN, I've never seen any other band that could play it. The lead guitar is smokin'! That band fucking ROCKS!!!

  • You are the Writer BRO

  • @tommydangerx they ROCK aye but it's mostly due to the early influence of Michael Schenker then Paul Tonka Chapman superb!

  • Are they really so underrated?schenker left when they were on top. They have been unlucky, and i think the "big crowd" really didn`t know what to do with them.magasins like "classic rock"(i think pete way must be a cloose friend of them:) take them very seriously,an tells their readers that "strangers in the night " is best live album ever, and guess what! it is... peace

  • one of the most underated bands to come out of the 1970s.but they are still going strong, well done lads, phil and pete rock

  • I posted this link into the GTA4 forums' music section, those young kids are gonna LEARN GOOD MUSIC!!! Love's Paul's ole BC Rich guitars

  • I want my U.F.O.

  • This is a great song without a doubt, but I just love anything off of No Place to Run. Mechanix is awesome in its own right...Who needs the flying V all the time...Rock without the V.....Ufo Rocks//////

  • Yeah, Schenker is Gawd, but Paul Chapman had his signature 10 string Rich Bich guitars! He and Joe Perry (as well as Brad Whitford, late 1970s)

  • I love this riff. This might be my favorite UFO song. Thanks to Sirius satellite radio, I discovered how great UFO is. No stations play UFO in Connecticut and I doubt they get play anywhere else, which is a shame.

  • Actually KQ here plays Too Hot to Handle, once every two years, I guess

  • This and Makin moves are my favoraites without the Flying V man

  • Such a great song and album. Tonka-era UFO is simply superb!

  • lol!

  • thnx for posting, you always post cool pics with the songs!

  • You are the Writer!, love this song
