Oh and by the way before any1 says anything I have seen both play. I was at the 1989 GF and the 1992 GF and cried both times and was at the 2007 GF and 2009 GF and again I cried both times. And Ablett Snr and Jnr are both great players but Jnr can really light that fire in the belly of a team. Just look when Snr kicked 14 goals against Essendon in 1993, and we still lost while if Jnr gets over 35 possessions I dont think we have ever lost. He is a really engine room of a winning team

Honest to God (no pun intended) I think in the end Jnr is better then his dad, he is more versatile and has more strings to his bow. You can play him mid field and in attack and I am sure that if you stressed to him to tighten up he could play negative on some1 and still get plenty of the ball. But lets hope they never do that cause he is a star

obviously 87 was when you were born, 3 years after ablett snr started. Basically you were still sh1tting your pants when senior was a freak. Jnr is a gun but snr had it all. do some research junior burger.

i agree you shouldnt compare them, unfortunately everyone does. snr is considered by many to be the greatest, but i think the game has modernized alot since 94, and requires a different style of player, to which jnr is perfect.

Sorry mate. Thought you were comparing him to Ablett senior, but it's impossible to compare Buddy to Gaz as they're different players, but I think it is safe to say the two are the best in the league at the moment in the positions they play.
