About three years ago I watched this movie every day. Singing = Perfect, Choreography = Perfect, Acting = Perfect, Julie Andrews = Perfect, Victor/Victoria = one of the best musicals ever.

Julie loved playing this role because she had for so long just been seen as a nanny from things like "sound of music" and "mary poppins", so this role was a big change to what she was so known for playing. i think she did an AMAZING job here, and the movie is so entertaining and happy!
I SO love this collaboration between husband and wife. It's got Blake Edwards stamped all over it (especially the French café scenes). Of course that songbird Andrews nails this song as no one else can (though Chris' Glee perfomance was pretty damned good). What irks me most is that Leslie Ann Warren did not win the Best Supporting Actress Oscar. She was perfection! RIP Blake Edwards and thanks for all the superb entertainment.

In addition, I'm glad "Glee is doing this and that," for they are exposing the younger generation the music & entertainment that the generations before them once enjoyed, or still enjoy, since entertainment is timeless. I SO love this collaboration between husband and wife. It's got Blake Edwards stamped all over it (especially the French café scenes). Of course that songbird Andrews nails this song as no one else can (though Chris' Glee perfomance was pretty damned good). What irks me most is that Leslie Ann Warren did not win the Best Supporting Actress Oscar. She was perfection! RIP Blake Edwards and thanks for all the superb entertainment.

I used to get really confused but I guess art is about likes and dislikes for everyone, but now I see it's worthless to get mad when I see how JULIE ANDREWS, LIZA, IDINA MENZEL among others, they're in a "fight" to prove the world if they are better than the "Glee Kids" or not.
