  • can you shoot without dropping the rifle to work the bolt?

  • I bet he did not hit anything.

  • exellent

  • damn nice reaload action bro!!!! uv'e been practicing huh!! cause i do, i can reload fast also, busted my finger once bleed all over my nagant

  • Nice bolt action; good vid. I am trying to place my order for a m44 w/ Ace Surplus. Best

  • you got a smooth bolt there

  • Dude, you need to learn to work that bolt with the rifle at your shoulder. Bringing it down to your waist every shot is not efficient. Bad habit.

  • I wonder if you can bring down an elephant with the mosin

  • @DimebagCFH4Life you could probably bring down an elephant with a .22 its all about shot placement.

  • very nice, looks like you can handle the weapon almost professionally, you must shoot often

  • The gun is going to shoot the same wether the bayonet is out or not, the shooter just might be less accurate

  • @rdrdrd22 nope

  • The bayonett yes was more a stabilizing devise than a weapon because the mosin nagant was used for TONS of sniping becuz thts wat the Russians loved they would extend the bayonett then throw on a scope... Nice job dude on ur reloading speed!!! :)

  • Damn good shooting...pretty smooth n good speed...10 shots at under 4 seconds a shot with bolt action! I have a Mosin-Nagant too....they are pretty damn good rifles!

  • Let me clear it up for you... On the M44, the bayonet was supposed to be extended while shooting. It acts as a stabilizing device. If you shoot one with the bayo out, then with it folded, you will see that your trajectory will change pretty dramatically. I made the mistake of grinding the bayo lug off mine and it's all over the place... Of course that could be anything with a well-used, 60 year old, mass-produced Russian military rifle...

  • lol they should have that included when people buy the rifle. i think it wasnt smart on the russians part to sight in the m44 with the bayonet extended

  • 2 rounds in 37 seconds nice

  • I'd like to know what accuracy could you obtain from such a fast shooting and reloading !!!! you look cool, but remember, in the battlefield the only thing you've to think about is to aim with accuracy and to shoot down your target.....

  • he aims, are you blind? you don't need minutes to take your target into the sight...

  • u dnt have to bring down the gun after every shot

  • 3RD mosin nagant video i've seen with the bayonet out while shooting.

  • the bayonet should only be out during close combat. People like this have no clue what they are doing. THey buy the gun for $80 and assume that it comes with it so lets put it on but ACCORDING TO THE RUSSIAN MILITARY HANDBOOK, ONLY EXTENDED DURING CLOSE COMBAT. But the book must be wrong and the 14yo must be right. After all he wrote it not the russians in 1920's. Dumbass

  • @smachnick who's the dumbass? They don't "put it on". It's mounted on the left side and swings out horizontally.

You missed my point entirely. the bayonet doesn't have to be out to shoot it, my comment has nothing to do with 'combat"...I'm simply saying that morons are putting it out for NO reason other than they think its cool.

What am i doing, I dont need to argue with children....grow up, learn to comprehend before you post or speak.

  • Right this is coming from the guy that still lives with his mom at 45. How is the basement? Is your TV dinner done? Mom needs you to drive her to the doctor so make sure your world of warcraft 9Hit Point guy can be left unattended for 30 min. Its ok cuz ull be up till 4 am playing fake swords with your overweight friends. YOUR GAY ACCEPT IT

  • @smachnick Is that all you got? You seem to be projecting just a little too much. 20 yrs NRA instructer....whatever you little loser. If nothing else you have attention issues, obviously.

  • @N2thedrink the funniest part? I barely know what world of warcraft is and no idea what a '9hit?" point guy is. who's living with mumma?

  • The M44 has a bayonet mounted on the side, so what is the difference of having it folded out or in. Wouldn't it be the same amount of weight in the same spot? Im not saying fire it with the bayonet out, because i have never fired my 91/30 with the bayonet on. Because i know it effects the accuracy. I picking up an M44 at the gun show next week and was just wondering.

  • who cares if the bayonet is out anyways. Its mounted to the side of the gun and gets in the way when shooting. ACCORDING TO THE RUSSIAN MILITARY HANDBOOK NO ONE GIVES A FUCK BECAUSE THE RED ARMY HAD BAYONETS OUT ALL THE TIME AND WHO READS A MANUEL ON HOW TO SHOOT YOUR ENEMY

  • @smachnick People shoot it with the bayonet on for fun, man relax.

  • Umm...it's out for fun. There is nothing wrong with him having the bayonet out during recreational shooting.

  • Or another weapon..the caliber 50!! What breaks the head!! haha

  • Too much beautiful!!! According to me it is the best weapon for a sniper. No?

  • By the way there was a special on the History Channel about a year ago about rifles. They talked about many different firearms but they did talk about the M44. And the expert and he was an expert showed how to use the bayonet. He said (the expert) they extended it for close combat. THe 44 was a short rifle. For closer combat. Turning corners and such. The retractable bayonet instead of the removable one was put on to aid in speed of extention of the bayonet WHEN NEEDED. man o man

  • russian protocal calls for bayonets to be fixed at all times except during motor vehical transport

  • YOUR WRONG

  • at least for the m91/30 it could be different for the m44

  • And NO they are not sited witht he bayonet extended. Again people i have the original translated manual on the 44 it says do not extend. only in close combat.

why are people sooo dumb why why why

  • put baoneet away idiot it does not help your shot actually makes it worse according to the russian manufacturer. they say extend it only for close combat. so dumb.

  • mosin nagant m44's are sighted with the bayonet on.

    Q. Why does my M44 shoot so far to the left (or right) of the point of aim?

    A. M44s were sighted in with the bayonet extended. Shooting with the bayonet stowed affects the barrel harmonics and can change the point of impact by as much as 1 foot per 100 yards. Not all M44s are effected this much or even at all. Either shoot with the bayonet extended or drift the front sight to compensate for the difference.

  • Q. Why do I still sleep in my moms bed.

    A. Because her basement is not ready for you yet. Many men around 40 still live with their moms. Like you. They think they know what theya are talking about with guns. Move out of your moms house isiot.

  • that look exactly like mine M44 carbine with a bayonet , the other one in the long rifle

  • Don't cha just LOVE the BOOM sound and the recoil the Mosin makes when fired ? Ha Ha I FAV rifle. I have the M-38

  • not critisizm but if you were going to speed dont take the rifle out of your shoulder just move your head a bit, thats how the military used to do it

  • those stripper clips can be a bitch sometimes! do you have to break them in?

  • No, you don't. I use Russian stripper clips, with the tiny Izhevsk arsenal mark, and find these the best. I do find that the clamping force of the clip deteriorates over time. Then i just pinch the two lips together with my fingers. If you experience any problems loading your rifle with stripperclips try this: If you have the right clip, use the point of your thumb and start pressing on the top cartridge just in front of the clip, curving your thumb into the magazine. Give it a try! Works for me

  • If you do it just right, then the cartridges will slide in like snot and the clip will even jump out giving a little Mosin ping! Hope this helped a little.

  • You think Cali's bad? try NY. I can't even order a folding stock for my PRE ban folding AK 47

  • how did you make your bolt that smooth?

Could you make a video for that?

  • one of the faster bolts ive seen on one of these guns by far.

  • ahha this brings back memories from 1997 parade in moskva

  • Ughh, I know CA terrible with the gun laws. All those super paranoid politicians we have.

For gun enthusiasts no state is better than good ol' Texas.

  • actually,im going to have to go with MT on that one!

  • As a TX resident I disagree. Alaska, Vermont, Arizona and Montana would like to have a word with you. Possibly Idaho, too.

  • Don't forget Oklahoma, lol. We have the " Make-My-Day Law " down here. We have conceal & carry permits, no " duty-to-retreat " laws, your car is also considered an extension of your home so you can defend it with lethal force from carjackers, and full reciprocity with Texas, meaning we can carry our concealed weapons in the state of Texas. I don't see how Californians even survive violent crime.

  • yeah its terrible here in the peoples republic of california

  • is that a bayonet on the end of the gun? if so where did you get it?

  • The russian made Mosin Nagant Model 1944 comes with a bayonet secured to the side of it, every M44 should have one unless its been tampered with

  • good job on that striper clip

  • that was actually a cheap chinese one, had a hard time with it. Some sites sell the Russian ones, theyre a million times smoother, if your thinking of buying some stick with the russian made clips =)

  • I will go with the Russian for sure they are only $79 can't beat that. BEWARE of the ammo you shoot out of that most of it is really corsive. Dude I could have swore I saw you at the range today lol. Where abouts are you in this gun loving contry?

  • I'm in the worst state to own a gun.. California. I havent been at the range latley, on the account of my ship out date to fort benning in the next few upcoming weeks. Happy shooting!

  • California??? Ouch...

  • Where can I the get Russian stripper clips for the Mosin ? I bought some brand new Chinese ones off Ebay and they are horrible. I just gave up after a while. They are stiff beyond belief, and I can't even get the rounds to move a fraction of an inch to load the rifle.

  • @serekithegreat just bend em back and forth to break them in a bit, thats what i had to do with mine.

  • Will do. Thanks man.

  • sweet...nice bayonet also.

  • very good : )....but how about your accuracy ?..with this smooth + fast shooting,I think that your going to be a killing spree if your accuracy was good ^_^..

    keep up

  • we were shooting at clays at 150-170 yards out against a hill, I'm shamed to say every shot was not a hit but out of the 10 shots fired 8 clays were destroyed =).

  • Lucky you, no sticky bolt on that Mosin.

Haha, I still have to get all the shitty ass cosmoline out of mine..

  • wow nice shooting, smooth movement, you handle it like a pro. great job.

  • nice rifle

  • hey ur actualy realy good! lol are u russian or just a good shooter??? =)

  • I'm actually not russian, more German - Italian. But thanks for the compliment =D I really appriciate it!

  • oooo well nice i have friend in germany.. after ww2 some russians stayed in Berlin and merried german girls so now i have half russian half german friends! =)

  • Nice! I'm sure that's exactly how the original soldiers did it.

  • thanks man =D

  • @spystylejr is there anyother way to do it?

  • Is that a PAST pad your using? If so, does it work?

  • Its actually a bandolier, not padded at all =( , trust me after I put about 150 down range, my arm was feeling it

  • Oh, I know. Made the mistake of forgetting my pad when I went out with the m44 and 91/30. Never again, oh no.

  • nice gun man. would you suggest this gun, or an m91/30?

  • Being a gun owner of both, I would suggest the M44, for a few reasons: Even though its a carbine version of the mosin it still is incredibly accurate, I'n my opinion the m44 feels like an all around sturdier gun. Also, if your living in the US, Century Arms has yet to announce to the public but my gun broker has informed me that the stock of m44's is close to diminished and you will see a massive increase in the price of the gun soon enough, so I would say, go for the m44 =D

  • Thanks for the advice. R&R Arms just ran out on their website so I will have to wait for a while before I can get it since they have to re-stock, I might just get both since the M91/30 is $56 and the M44 is $81 at the moment. I will get the M44 first though. have fun shooting them!
