But we have come to expect that from apple. The things they do with their hardware is nothing compared to what microsoft had to deal with during the internet browser issue back in the late 90s. Apple forces more control, hordes more money, and people are dedicated to them.

AFAIC they should leave it outside of USA and pay themselves outside of USA in foreign accounts. Create a bank of their own outside of US and use that money for foreign investments and purchases.

It's easy to make tons of money if you already have money, and damn near impossible to make money if you didn't. Working hard and being smart aren't in any way a guarantee for success, and people at the top who fail get bailouts, severances, and have enough money to last them ten lifetimes anyways.

@Relyt22 They are guilty. I looked up the exact number. Apple is close to 80 billion, microsoft is 30 billion. So yes, both are guilty to an extect, just apple does it 3 times as bad. But we have come to expect that from apple. The things they do with their hardware is nothing compared to what microsoft had to deal with during the internet browser issue back in the late 90s. Apple forces more control, hordes more money, and people are dedicated to them.

The solutions to the problems that we are facing all across the globe today can be summarized in these 3 points;
Fair Trade, not Free Trade.
International minimum level with regards to wages, working conditions, influence and safety.
Harmonization of tax rates, an imposing of a Robin Hood-tax on the financial sector and an outlawing of tax havens.
This will prevent a Race to the bottom and ensure competition based on knowledge and competence, not lower wages, lower taxes and worse conditions.

@force3264 Unions can't be alligned with political parties. Maybe they'll have similar philosophies but they should be indipendant. If that's not the case in the US than it needs to be changed. And I do also mean MSNBC, as well as extreme left or right wing newspapers. Newsreporting should be neutral, and there is hardly any place in it for opinion (or it should be obvious). There is no need for corruption and companies should be banned from having connections to the government or policies.

It's not your money. It's money made outside of US, if you are getting any benefit from it at all, be thankful. AFAIC they should leave it outside of USA and pay themselves outside of USA in foreign accounts. Create a bank of their own outside of US and use that money for foreign investments and purchases.
