@SkyPrince18 Did you empty your recycle bin after you deleted the files? The new space will not show up until you do. Did you try restarting your computer? If you can't Defrag because of a system error, then your OS may be corrupt, which could also cause the problems that you are having. You might need to back up your data, format your hard drive, and then reinstall your operating system, drivers, programs, and then put your data back on your system. Good luck!

Hey @SkyPrince18, you do NOT want to delete any system files ever. Stick with deleting files that you have created or downloaded, mainly video (largest type of file for the average user), audio (second largest), and any other files that you no longer want/need. But make DOUBLE sure that you know exactly what you are deleting. If you are not sure what the file is, do NOT delete it. ONLY delete things that you know. Good luck!

Good to hear it helped you! Just delete the ones you know. Best ones to delete are audio or video files, because most people know what they are and they are usually the largest files on people's pc's. Check my comment below for info on how to keep them, but still be able to delete them from your hard drive.

If you don't know what file or folder it is or know what it does, then don't delete it. Only delete the files that you are sure of. The best ones to delete that will get rid of a lot of space quickly are audio and video files. If you still want to keep them, then just copy them to an external hard drive, CD, DVD, or usb/thumb/flash drive.

Try doing it overnight. If that doesn't work, then see how much space you have left. You might be too low on space. Free up so more space by doing what I suggest in the video. And if that doesn't work, try defragging your disk. Good luck!

It doesn't delete files. It just tells you where everything is and how much space everything is taking up. If you want to free up a fair amount of space fast by having a program do it, use CCleaner. It gets rid if temp files. I show you where to get it and how to use it in my video "How to speed up your computer by removing spyware."
