  • You don't have input quantize you set before you start recording?

  • @dandini90 This video was made using Samplitude 10 I think which didn't have input quantize. But from version 11 onwards you can use input quantize by enabling it from the track editor to the left.

  • If i have a Guitar / bass USB cable, will it work with samplitude?

  • @AdamBigDickBarkley Hi there. I haven't ever tried on of those cables but it should work if it has Asio drivers. Just press Y and see it it's available in the driver dropdown list. If there isn't a driver try the Magix Low Latency one .Cheers

  • @kraznet , so how do i trim objects like just take a certain section out of track ?

  • @DDx5000 This might help you .

  • Good!

  • I really appreciate you taking the time for this man, thanks a lot

  • were you actually playing a REAl guitar? and recording it with a microphone?? if you were, that sounds soooooooooooooo clear!! =O

  • How to locate Revolta would you mind telling me thank you

  • @nihon94b Hi there ,

Revolta should be in the plug in menu under Magix Synth . It's only been in Samplitude since V11 but it has been in Samplitude Music Studio before that.

  • Hi I'm french and I have a question, Can you tell me the name of the program you use to make that tutorial?

The resolution of the video and the quality of the sounds ..... Well done!

    Thank you for answer.

  • Bonjour et merci :)

I used Camtasia Studio to make that video . I think the original resoution was 1280x1024 although for Youtube it's 640x480. .Thats quite an old video and my newer ones are recorded at 1920x1080 and rendered to 1280x720 for YouTube .

  • Thankyou !!

  • great tutorial with plenty of info, thxs

  • Hi, your tutorials are really cool i've learned a lot and I need to ask you about an error that i get when i start samplitude. (i ask you because i think you really know what you're doing)

it says: "unable to open ReWire subsystem, error: 9"

  • That message happens when you already have an instance of Samplitude open or another ReWire host open . The solution is to press Y to open the System Options and then under VST/DirectX/Rewire make sure Rewire is unchecked .

  • i think advanced quantum physics is easier to handle than CUBASE!!!

  • I don't really get the MIDI & Audio tracks in samplitude...... So much talk about having them on the same track yet they can't be recorded at the same time without using 2 tracks grouped. Am I wrong or is the "combined midi and audio track" a bit of hype that doesn't really exist as such?

  • I don't know where you got the hype bit from . The advantage is that you can easily switch the track to record audio or midi . Naturally you can't record audio and midi on the same track at the same time and I can't see any reason for doing this really . Makes more sense to do the midi on one track and audio on the next track .

  • Yeah the marketing makes it sound like they can both be recorded at once into the same track like I believe Reaper does.

  • Thanks that helped so much. Samplitute is amazing piece of software.

  • yeah right and i personally think that it's much easier to handle than cubase.

  • Great vid, but i have a quick question if you don't mind, where can i get some VST Plugins?

I had Samplitude V8 but when i upgraded to V10 all my plugins stopped working.

  • Great vid, but i have a quick question for you if you dont mind, where can i get some vst plugins?

  • THAT SHOULD DO...

  • Comment removed

  • forgive my naivety but, isnt this an over complicated version of cubase???i have this software and cant find any real application for it,cubase does it all easier!?!

  • The workflow is very similar to Cubase but obviously there is a learning curve with any DAW . Cubase is very good as well but Samplitude lets you Master and burn your CD which you can't do in Cubase .If you're happy with Cubase thats fine .
