If Billy Joel's song can get our troops out of Iraq one minute sooner - great. But, it's disturbing to me his song has the same name as "Christmas in Fallujah" written by Jefferson Pepper more than two years earlier. Pepper's song draws power from a real soldier and his real experiences in Iraq. To me, Joel's song is just a sad shadow of Pepper's. But if it gets the troops home, Merry Christmas to all.
