Anyone who listens to this song and thinks they know about drugs. If your still alive and survived heroin abuse. That monkey can creep up and pay you back. My cousin who was a user gave up drugs and alcohol and turned to god. And lived clean for 20 years and then that monkey claimed him with hepatitis. He paid for his sins.

Does anyone know why all of the sudden in the 80's, artists begin wearing clothes (shirts and bandanas in particular) with the Japanese flag on it ? Was it because of the band Loudness ? Maybe a souvenir from a visit ? That look came and went... but even though I lived thru it, I didn't quite know why it was there in the first place.

Since I had always wore uniforms to school, (& Geranimals, The Gap, etc, outside school) I didn't really know what was "cool". I got my fashion tips from the very bands you mention. When I was like 12yo, I begged/forced my parents to buy me a sleeveless shirt with a Jap flag/writing on it. BTW, I was also clueless as to the symbolism/thought it was cool.

Thank you for posting Kevins obituary. It breaks my heart that my old friend is gone. Talk about a shock..He never told me he had cancer. Old friends sometime loose touch with each other over the years, but the memories are always with us.
Hey Phantom we had many a good time together back in the 80's!! My heart goes out to Kim and Eric who I also have not seen in years and the rest of his family. Kevin you rocked... songsilikejk, I dont know you, but thank you!

My name is Glenn Sikes, my father David was a long time friend of Kevin and played with him in this band and for years afterwards. Kevin, Kim, and Eric were always there through my youngest years when I was just a child. Kevin was an incredible man and a brilliant musician, but he will live on through the music he has made and through the bonds and memories he has formed with those around him. No one could ever take those things away. Rest in peace Kevin, we will miss you.

I also was friends with your father back when we all worked for Industrial Freight after the band split up. I have not seen him either in all these years. I did find Kim and reconnected with her. vevo is a way to shove commercials down our throats instead of letting us enjoy these videos away from that commercial excess... you just can't win. i don't watch tv because the tv is all commercialized trash and no talent assholes... now they invade youtube video clips with their lame advertisements. is nothing sacred? not if there's money involved i guess.

"fantasy" was a song i remember lisetning to on kazy, kbpi in denver as a child. but of course it was a one hit wonder. from hip hop spawned rap, house, electro, techno, trance, and trip hop. hip hop is the KING of all music and always will b. however "Fantasy" was a pretty kewl tune! word up baby! word up!
